This has always been one of my favorite places. Always get the 16oz prime rib. We went a few months back ordered the usual. When it came out it was the petite cut at best. I showed the waitress and she said yes it does look like the petite cut. The thickness was about 3/8" on one end and maybe 1/2" on the other. She came back and said the chef said they hand cut and weight them and it was definitely 16oz and that's what I was charged for. Like I said I get these all the time there. so I wasn't going back. Well I decided to give a second chance. This time it was just the center and the outer strip although a little bit thicker. My wife saw it giggled and said guess we're not coming back. I'm so sad and disappointed. Not sure maybe they changed chefs. She got pasta with red clam sauce which was also OK. BTW The wait staff is always pleasant.

In my opinion, this restaurant has the best food in the area. Im talking all of New Haven County and then some. Everything is absolutely delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and the atmosphere is great. Not to mention, customer service is great. I highly recommend. You won't be disappointed.

Come here for lunch sometimes and have always been happy! The service is fast and very friendly. The bar is lively and the drinks are strong! Their burgers are always delicious.

At our most recent visit, the wait wasn't too bad. We had a party of 7 ppl and were seated pretty quickly for a Saturday night.Our waitress, though quite nice, seemed a bit overwhelmed. The food was pretty good, but the parmesan wings weren't the best. I'd recommend this restaurant.
A good chill spot with great food, plus a bonus if Rob is behind the bar.
