First the food was disappointing, not bad but not good just serviceable. Service was slow although friendly enough. Nothing stood out as either great or bad. The noise level was very high but there was a huge party of probably 12-14 people that was bringing the noise level way up. That said the space is clearly loud but we were able to talk over the table and mostly were able to have a clear conversation. We came as this is a woman chef owned restaurant and for that I am happy...
Reliably excellent. Loved the choices of margaritas, all delicious. Food was top notch, with friendly, attentive service to boot. Since opening, La Palapa has provided a consistent and dependable culinary experience which keeps us coming back. Thanks for the memories.
The food was delicious! We got the corn on the cob app (they took it off the cob so we could share!). Then the steak tacos and steak enchiladas and both were great!! Super delicious and nothing was over powering anything else. There was live music from local east village artists which we did not know about but it was fun! (Happens there every Wednesday night, no cover!) Margs are a must! Frozen and on the rocks were great!
