Daiko Jerry San's Sushi Bar

By far, the best sushi/maki/Japanese food experience we have had in CT. Everything was super fresh and the wasabi, made at the restaurant, was the spiciest we have bad in CT. Even the miso soup was exceptional. The service was awesome, and the food was served quickly. Party of two, we ordered wine, steamed gyoza appetizer, one order of the Three Musketeer Roll and one order of the Vegetables Sushi Dinner. The total bill before tip was $54.

If you are looking for an excellent Japanese dining experience look no further than Daiko Jerry San's Sushi, a semi hidden gem on Jefferson Road close to Route 1 and across the street from the Honda dealership.

Went to Jerry’s last night and I was soooo full because it was sooo delicious I had to come home and get into bed! The salmon is like butta in your mouth! The tuna firm and soft at the same time… and the eel… OMG… hadn’t been there in a long time and it was excellent!!! Fresh & delicious, go and enjoy!

Amazing Miso soup, and cosistantly good sushi, I cannot reccomend the tempura roll enough, it was one of the best I've ever had! The service was great, and there was minimal wait for the food. For how amazing the food is it's quite affordable, our table got appetizers, 3 rolls, and dessert for under $70 which feels like a steal! Great resturaunt no complaints!

My friends have been recommending this place for a long time. Tonight, I finally got here. Salmon Avocado roll, Maguro & Hamachi. The white rice wasn't hard & sticky like some sushi restaurants. This rice was soft but didn't fall apart. I like that. Just because I knew I'd be too full if I ordered a dinner, I got some appetizers to try: spring rolls & fried pork dumplings - both light & crunchy. Dipping sauces had a nice subtle taste; not vinegary. Very good. You wouldn't know it from the outside but the inside is attractive, the sushi bar is great, and it's busy with regulars. I think I'll become a regular, too.

Just moved to Branford and came across this gem! Jerry San's is unbelievable. Jerry is a great man and front man to this business and he talks to everyone that walks in. His food is amazing, the place is clan and fun to be in. We been there 2 times and will be back. Price is great for the quality, The service is wonderful and friendly. I highly recommend Jerry Sans' 5 Stats ALL THE WAY!

What a vibe! Jerry and his wife run an incredible, warm and welcoming restaurant. They have excellent sushi, including Toro. Authentic and brings me back to Japan.

Went there with a friend and unfortunately one of the appetizers was still cold in the center. Another appetizer was forgotten and it took quite a wait for the food to arrive. The sushi was at least decent and the indoor scenery was nice

Best sushi in the area. So fresh and delicious. Jerry is great, very cool and entertaining. Total chiller. This is what I imagine a sushi restaurant in Japan feeling like.
