My little brother came to visit me from a different country and I thought about brining him to Dive Bar so he can try something different and we got turned away because he is under age. We told the waitress we weren’t planing on getting any alcohol and were there for a nice meal only. When clearly on the website it shows you can bring kids and family here. Also note that it is 2:30pm. Disappointed that the website is misleading and that I wasted my time with my brother and wife.
Very good bar food, tuna poke bowl is my favorite dish, staff is always great. Tonight I had the Mac smash burger (I recommend)! 5 stars on service because they are always great, but when they are busy you may wait a bit, but never that long.

I do love this place. The stars off are for the OG smash burger. It’s just a regular double patty, it’s not smashed thin and crisped up. Maybe it was just an off night or I’ll stick to the tacos.

Plenty of TV's to watch your favorite sport. Great food and outstanding staff.
Food handler was seen touching food with no gloves. The guy had a beard and was touching his face and beard, and scratching his back.

I love Dive Bar. On a 2 week vacation, I went there 5 times. The last time, there was 12 of us. And Sally and Leenie (sorry if the name is spelled wrong) were fantastic and accommodated us wonderfully. Can’t wait to move back to West Haven! Dive bar is my place! Food is excellent!
