The Food we ate, it was good, but it wasn't great, it was all sort of bland. But they add a 20% service tip to our bill without telling us about it, like if you were going to tip them after you're done. Don't it!

It wasn't very good, and on top of that the 20% tip is too much for what they offer

I came with my family to eat because we were visiting and in reality the dishes leave my country in a bad light, the service is terrible, a man served me, his treatment was very bad, I felt like I was discriminated against. The only good thing was the music
THEY CHARGE THE TIP WITHOUT ASKING AND THIS WAITER DID NOT DESERVE ANYTHING BE CAREFUL
The old-fashioned ones were raw and acidic, the burnt potato
My family ordered chaufa and the rice was cold and had no flavor.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT, LOOK FOR A PLACE

Large portions, but the food isn't that great for the prices, and I guess they don't like servicing utensils either. I had to share my fork and spoon with my daughter.

I went to this restaurant and the waitress's attention is super bad, they charge the tip without asking, she charges 20% of the tip, it is the first and last time I enter this restaurant

A pleasant place to get out of the routine with a very peculiar gastronomy and a very cozy bar room, be sure to visit and enjoy a variety of cocktails ?? and beer ? to spend the ? with friends and couples. ?

Bad experience. When I saw the price of the 4 stuff that I got I couldn’t believe it. $175! I went back to the restaurant to figure out why it was so expensive and the server told me that the tip was already included, $26, they also charged me a fee to use my card. But I also left tips on the table because she did y tell me before that the tip wasn’t included in the bill. I asked the server for the tip back and she said that another lady that was cleaning the table took it and she doesn’t know anything else about that. This should be reported and denounced so they can stop stealing money from other people, because this wasn’t the first time this happened to me.

Today I went to this place and what a bad service the truth is, the waitress charging more on a sheet of paper because you paid in cash and the mandatory tip was automatically charged and after the fact with a very bad attitude when I asked her to explain the bill to me It's gone, what a bad place in my life, I won't go back to this place, not even my friends.

Let me paint a picture for you!!

You walk into El Rincón Peruano Restaurant, lured by the promise of exquisite ceviche and a culinary experience to remember. The atmosphere is inviting, the aroma intoxicating. But beneath the surface, there lurks a shadowy game of deceit.

The food? Top-notch. The ceviche? Divine. But the service? It’s a different story. Our server, with a smile as smooth as the guacamole, failed to mention the automatic 20% gratuity charge already tacked onto the bill. It’s a clever little trick, one that preys on those who struggle with the language or the fine print on a receipt.

You see, this isn’t just a one-time slip; it’s a pattern. Patrons unknowingly leave an extra 20%, thinking they’re simply being generous. The server doesn’t provide a detailed receipt, just a piece of paper to sign, ensuring you miss the sneaky charge. I know this because it happened to me and to others I’ve spoken with.

El Rincón Peruano, you have a gem of a kitchen, but this underhanded tactic leaves a bad taste. Here’s my advice: Enjoy the food, but scrutinize your receipt. Don’t let a superb meal be tainted by dishonesty.

To the management: You’ve got a great thing going here. Don’t let shady practices undermine your reputation. Transparency is key.

Pretty good option to visit with family members and friends. Large menu option of dishes from the land or the sea. Traditional taste of peruvian cooking. Courteous service staff team. Prices are affordable.

Bad service I got to eat a lomo saltado and bad luck got a hair on my plate, call the waitress, the owner didn't come out, he only stated that it was a hair from the vegetables that hadn't been blended well. How disgusting never again return to this place
