Our waitress was very sweet & attentive but the food was subpar and the tables, chairs etc were worn and run down, one of our booth chairs was even duct taped. I order a philly panini & it wasnt on any kind of bread used for a panini...it was on some random thick roll and barely pressed/grilled. The steak had NO seasoning, very bland. There was minimal meat in it either. I tried to eat it and not waste $15 but couldn't do it. I doubt I'd be returning.

Always has a great breakfast but I really love the burger. Super affordable either by itself or deluxe with fries and cole slaw. Wish I took a picture of the menu to show the price. Plus it’s only two dollars to add bacon to your burger if you want. basically paid $20 (with tax and tip) for a double bacon cheeseburger deluxe with a Diet Pepsi. The only downside is that you only get 1 refill with the soda.

This place has great french toast with strawberries and whipped cream, the lady who served us was very kind and showed a great deal of hospitality to my family and I, and there's an overall welcoming feeling to the place, definitely coming again!

The food is a little on the bland side which was saddening because we liked the atmosphere and service we had. The waitresses were super attentive to their customers with a certain charisma that seems lost to some people. The bland food needed a bit something in both my opinion (not as heavy handed) and my boyfriends (is very heavy handed)

Super friendly staff, always look forward to good conversation. They are also awesome with kids. All the children's meals come with dessert! And the portions are huge so there's always some to take home!Kid-friendliness: Crayons and a placemat to draw, the waitstaff always engage with the children. We live out of town but we do stop by occasionally. Every time we do we have been pleased. The food is great, but even better, the staff has been fantastic. I highly recommend The Elm Diner to everyone.
