I went there today because my Cousin, Carl McManus eats breakfast there daily. The place was good size with multiple tables. The menu was extensive, with several different cultures offered. The Waitstaff were excellent, very friendly and professional. The food was outstanding and very reasonable. I now know why my Cousin eats breakfast there almost daily, although they offer a full lunch menu as well. Highly recommended when you are visiting New Haven, Connecticut.

Our first time going to Jerri’s was amazing!! The food came out fast… portions were huge!! All of us took home food!! The service was excellent and the atmosphere was wonderful. We met a family who came from Stamford, CT every Sunday for breakfast!! We can’t wait to go back and try something else on the menu. Oh… I forgot to mention the prices are far better than other restaurants we have visited. Try Jerri’s you won’t be sorry!!😊

Amazing Colombian food, friendly service and a clean, upbeat atmosphere. This is a gem in West Haven. I always leave with a mango smoothie con leche!

Today I went to eat with my family, the food was very tasteless, the meat was dry, burnt and bitter, my cousin and I ordered a calentado, the beans were tasteless and the meat was dry and burnt, my mother ordered a paila with chicharron frejoles and yellow plantains, which did not come and the waiter swore that they did serve it to her, they basically called us liars, the waiter was very cool, but the food was very bad.

Wheelchair accessibility: May be a little difficult for a wheelchair as the accommodated seating is in a tight space.

Been coming for years. Jonathan makes the chicken marsala. This time was lied to. Tasted like eating a mouthful of salt. Owner (John) refused to let Jonathan make it. So sad you lost another customer and will Not refer anymore new customers. I can tell just by looking at it that it wasn't Jonathan's dish.

First time here I am like 8 minutes away and I was happy with the food and the atmosphere. The place was packed but very clean and a lot.of staff working. There's only street parking so if it's packed you may have to walk just a little bit. It's Colombian flavors and I want to come to dinner now. Keep you posted.

We went to Jerri's for the first time since the pandemic. I was a little worried that the expansion and the new menu might be signs of trouble, but no -- Jerri's is as good or even better than it ever was! Really the only difference is you no longer have to wait for a table. There really is nowhere like it for amazing quality and taste -- as well as enormous quantity for the price!

Dietary restrictions: My son is gluten-free, if somewhat casual about it. He got an enormous breakfast platter of steak, rice&beans, avocado, fried sweet plantains, eggs with scallions and tomatoes, an arepa and cheese. Without scrutinizing the ingredients in fine detail, all of those have a good chance of being gluten-free.
