Saw on a Tik tok review..: Average at very very best.. nothing good to say. The margaritas are weak and overly sweet. I wouldn’t come back.

Food tastes decent but WAY overpriced for they actually give you. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and for $18 this is some BS. It tastes good but the tiny little salsa that comes with it is 90% watery sauce, barely has any tomatoes in it, The sour cream container was barely enough for one piece of the quesadilla. No chips on the side...nothing? For $18 this is it?! Needless to say I wont be returning.

This was our first time visiting La Catrina’s
West Haven location, and we have to say we were very impressed! We had loved their food in Milford, and we found it was even more delicious here. We visited during their breakfast hours (Saturday & Sunday 8:30am-3pm), and it’s some of the most authentic and tastiest Mexican breakfast in the area. Stand out items were the lachera pancakes, ham and cheese omelette because of how flavorful it was, and the lamb Barbacoa. The drinks were fantastic, from the simple chocolate banana milkshake to cocktails lit on fire! Since we were there close to lunch, we also enjoyed their birria tacos and signature La Catrina meat and shrimp platter, both being delicious as well. Kind and attentive staff, and the murals were stunning on the wall. We will definitely be recommending this spot!

10/10 Will be returning. I’ve recently went to a restaurant and entered the bar and the drinks there were impeccable the “Fire cazuela” was definitely one of my favorites and the bartender his service was amazing definitely worth it.

In my opinion this is one of the best Mexican restaurants i came across the food here was amazing i’ve never had food this good in my life i love the way all the workers here gave the best energy definitely a good place to come with your friends and family will be coming back.
