I went in there at around 2pm and there was no one in line. The guy behind the counter looked like he was asleep. He took an extremely long time to come to the counter and was just moving stuff around, he wasn’t actually preparing anything. I ordered a tender combo with fries and their specials. He didn’t say a single word to me the entire time I ordered and just dropped my receipt in the counter. He walked in the back I assumed to prepare my food. After 20 minutes I got impatient and asked the 7/11 worker to go check. He came out and “what’d you order again my bad” so then he prepared my food! What was he doing for 20 minutes! I got the chicken and the fries. Small serving of fries and bland. He forgot my biscuit. He forgot my sauce. I didn’t notice because the bag was sealed but I did notice no drink and he just said “oh is the big gulp we don’t gots no drinks over here.” Okay cool! Could’ve told me that while I waited for 20 minutes. Once I got in the car and realized there was no sauce of biscuit I went back in for the sauce because I realized the tenders are so dry they’d be inedible without sauce. When I got to the counter he was no where to be found. So the 7/11 worker saw me visibly frustrated and came over and poured some sauce for me which was the incorrect sauce but I can’t fault her, she doesn’t work at the chicken place. Awful awful awful. Never again.

This store is a scam. They take your money and won’t give refunds after they cancel your order and blame you for calling and canceling. I am now out of $30 because they lied to Uber and told them I called to cancel when they don’t even answer the number that is provided on Google, never order from them ever again

So I received my food from a DoorDash order my Mac and cheese was burned so I tried to eat around it then found a moving living bug in my food i felt so disgusted.

I was traveling between New York and Connecticut this past weekend and decided to stop in to take a break and get some lunch. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon and I have to say what a terrible mistake. There was 2 people working behind the food counter, a man and a woman, seriously need training in customer service or should be fired. I tried making a food purchase of the chicken special, which was a large piece of chicken, 2 sides, and a soda. The woman behind the counter either didn't know what she was doing or just didn't want to work. When asking for the special she didn't know what I was talking about and I had to explain to her. Then when preparing my order, any request I made she ignored and when I repeat, she would answer "no". I asked if I can have a different piece of chicken because the one she picked for me was burnt, she made me repeat and then said no. The 2 sides was rice and beans only. when I asked if I can have something other than beans, again she made me repeat then told me no. When I asked if she can cut up the chicken, again, no. What kind of customer service is that? Meanwhile, the man behind the counter just stood there the whole time. I finally said the hell with it and walked out of the store! Shame on you, Raise the Roost for hiring such incompetent people who knows no customer service!

Just went there today to get there 4.99 chicken sandwich special. The guy Came from the back and he looked like he just woke up. He scratches his head and said they don't have no chicken but can make the sandwich with the chicken tenders. When l got my sandwich it was not fully cooked.it was still raw. I had to reheat it in my air fryer when l got home. Watch out for this place I was totally disappointed..

Wow! Ordered online and what a mistake that was. This was the dryest most overcooked chicken I’ve ever eaten; it’s like they put the chicken in the fryer, went home for the night, came in the next day, and took it out to be sold. Honestly, if I had a time machine, I would go back to before I decided to order this and go to Popeyes instead. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

Idk about these other reviewers' experiences, but mine has always been on point! My son and I came here to pick up dinner for tonight and the food was slamming as usual. The only problem I had was that the workers were kinda slow getting everything together. We nearly missed the bus we were waiting for. I asked for string beans as one of the sides, and I truly couldn't have made them better myself. Maybe it's gotten better since these other reviews were written, hopefully they'll try again. I know I'll be back.

I went for the first time today and everything was great. Friendly staff, delicious food, and good service. My YouTube channel (Preserve the 80s) has a bit more of an in-depth review with the food being shown. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

If you love yourself please don’t eat there. First time there and my last. The lady that was taking my order she was very friendly the problem here is the food. Bios iota soon as you bite into it it’s like an explosion of butter and grease in your mouth the Mac and cheese taste like powder cheese ? dollar store type of cheese. Now let’s get to the ball of grease that they call CHICKEN. If the consider grease seasoning then they hit the jackpot I rather eat frozen chicken from Walmart in the frozen section than this!!! Please don’t waste your money there go to POPEYES they always got deals and they chicken taste fantastic. And the buscuits sooooo delicious with honey.

I went in to order something to eat! I was greeted kindly by everyone. The staff help me navigate through the menus since I never order there before. However when receiving my food it was nasty and very old tasting. I ordered the 6 piece bone mango habanero wing w/fries and 6 piece shrimp by itself. The shrimp was freshly made and seasoned well. The wings were so old tasting. It taste like old grease and the chicken had sat for days . It was tough as rubber. It was not edible. Since I drove home when tasting it I had no idea if they would have replaced the food so definitely quality check your food before leaving the establishment.
