Subpar food no New England clam chowder 😏 you can tell the restaurant is having some kind of struggle met owner passing by into the restaurant very nice, however food needs to be revamped, I never had stuffed shrimp baked with artificial lobster , shrimp you would us in Chinese rice so watery, the waitress had a bit of a attitude I could feel the energy, once she try to explain the restaurant way out not having clam chowder/ take it off the menu, I also noticed a lot of Things were Market Price which I have not seen on certain items in other seafood restaurants I’ve recently visited which were delicious 🤤 it’s a More of a Pub/ bar with seafood, it’s definitely not their specialty or what they specialize in. I was very disappointed as I explained to the person I was with and she wasn’t too happy with her meal either, the MP is to compensate the subpar food so they over charge ti make the quota, my personal experience I would never return I traveled over a hour, never be afraid to ask for help in revamping a menu and items especially things being so costly, remove things and add new you be surprised the out especially if your not specializing in seafood only with the shore, bay being at arm’s length

First and foremost Melissa was amazing! She poured an excellent Long Island, steered us right on the menu, (the stuffed sole and blackened grouper special) then there were the oysters! They were fantastic, bright and delicious! Oh I forgot to mention the view from the covered patio of Oyster River Beach. Just a great overall experience. Thank you Ripetide and thank you Melissa.

Great spot for seafood in a casual space with friendly service. One of my favorite spots, and just across the street is a small beach so you can take in a bit of a view of the Sound too.
I'm in town from Tampa, and my friends love your food and suggested we get takeout. I'm happy we did. I got the lobster grilled cheese on sourdough bread. It was packed with fresh lobster meat and delicious. I also chose the onion rings as a side for a couple more dollars, and they were very satisfying.
All ofmour meals (five of us) had enough food for two meals, so now we have tomorrow's lunch! The prices are fair, and the takeout service was great. Thanks!

This was our first time visiting. The service and location were good. But maybe it's the dish that I ordered, but my meal was subpar. I was expecting more flavor. My son don't like his meal either. Not sure if we'll be going back here.

Ordered their Dinner special Poboy fried oysters with french fries , the oysters were pretty good . The french fries were disappointing. It tasted like they were refried crispy dense full of oil and not freshly made so that was disappointing because I normally love my fries. Coleslaw was good too . Figured I’d give them a try again because it’s been a few years since I’ve been there and was craving a fried oyster platter, it was an old favorite. Waitress was amazing actually, the whole staff was amazing.Atmosphere is nice.
