Met a friend after work. Doesn't look like much on the outside, but oncr inside, the inside the restaurant is clean and nice looking. The food was fantastic (3 overstuffed fish tacos), drinks were good (Martini and Purple Rain). The waitstaff was swamped, a little chaotic. We ended up with the wrong bill but it was corrected quickly.Parking: Have to go past the restaurant and connect to the shopping Plaza and walk back to the street. I drove around looking for the way out.

Had the lemon pepper grouper and lobster roll. Spot on! The music was a bit loud, but I'm old. Good lobster bisque and friendly service. The restaurant was unusually empty. Probably time of year.

I'm a regular and food for the most part is good...it's quite the gamble with the lobster bisque at $11.00 a bowl. Either salty or runny and lately, good luck finding lobster! Steer clear. I will now make my own.

Neighborhood bar for the older segment. The younger crowd is next door in Dive. You have your regulars plastered on by the window seats that faces the beach. Food is blah, wait times is long especially the summer or a nicer day. Ambiance is a small neighborhood restaurant facing the beach. Once you look at the water, it is a nice view. Huh, wait I was here to try the restaurant.

I want to like Rip Tide. I really do. They have the nicest staff. But every time we try again, the food is just so blah. Could be what we order. The calamari this time was just rings, no tentacles and was soggy and chewy. Fried artichokes, which I love were fried beautifully but had no sauce--usually they have a buttery sauce, but the spinach it was on was delicious. My broiled scallops were swimming in so much liquid (not wine or butter), I had to pour it out of the ramekin (prepared from frozen?) when I come again, I will stick to their raw bar, sandwiches, salads that look fresh and delicious as do their dressings and onion rings!
Very good seafood and the staff is top notch. Monday and Tuesday features reduced pricing on raw oysters and clams. Only place I know around here that has grouper on the menu.

The Shrimp casserole was disappointing! I asked ahead of time if the crabmeat was REAL! It was sent back and I was offered another meal! The 2nd meal was so-so! The service and atmosphere was great!

It was off to a slow start, the stuffed clams appetizer were very bland.But the Blackened Ahi Tuna entree was incredible! Wow!Beware, prices were actually much higher than the website (like kid's meal went from $7 to $10...)

The food was horrible second time here and the last. Ordered seafood platter scallops were bay scallops very small batter fell right off and onion rings crumbled in my hand. My mother ordered the fish and chip which she said was absolutely horrible. I took a bite and had to spit it out no flavor at all, they do not beer batter the fish and chips and that’s the only right way to do eat for me. Never will I return and pay the prices I did not to mention basically everything on their menu is m/p
