In my opinion, this is the best Mexican in the west haven, orange, and Milford area. Why would anyone go to a chipotle? The burrito here is far superior. The quesadillas and burritos are big enough for 2 meals.

AUTHENTIC Mexican food, great service & hospitality! If you’re looking for good Mexican food & Mexican beer, this is the place for you. I had a great time here with my boyfriend & close friend! They were attentive & very nice!

This place is so wonderful! I stopped in with my kiddos for take out and we really enjoyed our dinner! I had the steak dinner and my teen had the shrimp dinner and it was delicious! You get a really good amount of food and it’s very flavorful! My little kids loved the horchata and the churros too! It’s very family friendly and welcoming, we can’t wait to go back and dine in next time! Highly recommend!

This place is so cute and locally owned!! My boyfriend and I were driving home from New York and stumbled upon it on Google Maps. I had chicken enchiladas with red sauce and I cleaned the whole plate. They really give you a good amount of food at the price, on top of being delicious. My boyfriend had the shrimp salad and liked that as well.

The service was top notch and atmosphere nice too with all the decor. Any time we're back in the area we plan to come again! Definitely give it a try.

I took my Little Baby to Don E. Restaurant and it was her birthday and I never even asked but the owner bought out a cake With a candle and I have to tell the world. It's so nice and my girl cried like a baby and I will have to say that was a nice place to take a person for a birthday

My mother and I stopped here for an early dinner today and we were BLOWN AWAY. The owners of this sweet little restaurant are incredibly kind and hospitable and immediately made us feel welcome. The atmosphere of the place is colorful and cozy. The whole experience was like a warm hug.

The food is excellent and beautifully seasoned. We’re originally from out west and are used to food from various regions of Mexico being pretty readily available and done well; unfortunately we’ve found Connecticut often lacking in flavorful, authentic Latin food. Until now. I had some incredible pork (Al pastor, I think?) enchiladas and mom had, I think, a steak taco style dinner. We immediately fell in love. She adored the Jamaica (iced hibiscus beverage, one of her all-time faves) and the horchata I was given to sample was pure comfort in a cup. We just had to order takeout as well for the rest of our family, even with a 45 minute drive home.

We don’t live in the New Haven area but will be back again anytime we find ourselves nearby. Again, I can’t stress enough what kind and lovely people the family who owns this place are. Give them a try and let them impress you, too!
