I have been an avid Cristys patron for years. It's been my all time favorite where i've brought many friends and family members to. I moved away for a year and the Cristy's I returned to is not the same. Unsure if there are new owners or not but so much has changed. The servers are all new. The service itself is slow. We waited in the line for 30 mins while watching three empty tables just sit there while young servers took their time chatting and texting rather than serving and swapping tables. No pep in their step. Some very unfriendly and seemed bothered to be working. The quality of the food was not the same. Home fries were not cooked as they have been in the past. Most upsetting of all was how much the price jumped. It was my husband and I. We each got ice waters and a coffee, one omelet each, and we shared one order of home fries and one pancake. Total was $48.00. One of the best things about Cristy's was how reasonable the cost was for the amount/quality of food. I did notice the dinning room was remolded... are they charging customers to make up for that? Either way, my once favorite place to eat is no longer. Please bring the Cristy's we loved back.

AMAZING! The food was great. We would recommend! Very clean building and fireplace was nice on a cold morning. We loved it! The servers were kind and the food came quickly. Also, great prices! The building was close to our house, right in the center of town!

The food portions have gone down drastically in the past few weeks. I was told someone got in trouble for giving out too much food. Wow cheap much?
I've eaten here more times than I can remember. It has always been fantastic. Well, except for the last three times. This place has gone downhill, drastically. I thought it was odd today when I walked right in and got a seat, on a Sunday. This place is usually inaccessible on Sunday. Anyway, I wanted a simple egg breakfast, but I see this California Benedict and I figure that sounds good. But it IS Christy's, home of the world's best pancakes, so I gotta order a raspberry peach. They are delicious. The food arrives, pancake looks great. I only got one because they are now $7.85 per. That's EACH. I don't care. They really are that good. And this one was. However, that Benedict thing was awful. Apparently the cook can't do "poached". I ate two bites. Couldn't do anymore. So I did something I never do, I complained. After that, I really just wanted to eat my pancake and leave. The waitress was really pushing me to order something to replace it. I got the feeling that they intended to charge me for an inedible dish. I figure, in for a dime.... May as well wreck this train right now. So I tell her, "I WILL NOT pay for that. If it's your intention to charge me, then yes, bring me something else." So I order something simple. Bacon and eggs. Which I'm clearly not going to eat, I'll be full by the time it arrives. When it gets here, I come to the realization that the cook doesn't do eggs. My over-easy eggs were the worse I've had. The bacon was good, about as good as bacon flavored tissue paper can be. I won't be back. What a shame. All those people that will have to listen to me trash this place at every convenient moment. And probably even inconvenient ones. And those other seven one-star ratings I'm going to give this place.

We were seated right away. Service was quick and efficient. We ordered eggs and regular pancakes. The pancake was really good! I would eat here again.

Ordered the Greek omlet and was disappointed in the wetness of it. The greens should have been squeezed. I had water on my plate and inside the omlet. The flavor suffered from this. The wait staff we had was somewhat abrupt and unpleasant. The follow-up from another for refills was much more pleasant. There was a long wait. It is popular. I will give a second chance.
