We've been here twice and both times have really enjoyed it. The burgers and gyros are excellent. Try the Athenian quesadilla, it's unique and very flavorful. The fries are hot and crisp and I really like that they're not over salted. The place is very clean. We'll be back to try some of the other stuff on the menu
We stopped at Leon's based on the positive reviews and it did not disappoint. We ordered the Chicaroni grinder which was delicious, but the chicken cutlets were rather thin. Our small pepperoni thin crust, well-done pizza was very good. We also got a house salad which was full of super fresh lettuces, thinly sliced red onion and green pepper, tomatoes and cukes. Just stopped in at Leon's on a Sunday at noon visiting from Maryland. What an incredibly pleasant experience. The restaurant has so much charm seen in the details of signs, artwork and paint. Service was excellent. Food was excellent. We shared the footlong grinder called the Empire State. Restroom facility was very clean. Highly recommend stopping at Leon's if you're traveling through the Clinton/Westbrook area. Also home of Foxon Park White Birch Beer soda pop....
