What a gem! I was looking for a local place with a varied menu to entertain out of town family. Literally stumbled upon Sammy’s and decided to give it a try. All I can say is WOW! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, the food is very well prepared, visually appealing and most importantly, delicious! However, the best part of our evening was the staff! We were seated right away, treated like old friends (even though we were first timers!) and we never felt rushed. The owner, Sammy, came over to chat which sealed the deal for me! Please do yourself a favor and head to Sammy’s, you will not be disappointed!

What a fantastic experience! Took my wife and granddaughter here for my wife’s birthday. The food was sumptuous, the atmosphere lovely and very comfortable. The staff were attentive, thoughtful, and efficient. Our waiter Milos AKA ‘meatloaf’ was the BEST!

The food is terrible. Canned, jarred and then dressed up. The clams are literally just out of a tin with 3 fresh ones on top for $25 - go down the street and just get all fresh for a similiar price and amazing taste.
The vodka sauce is worse than the grocery store.
Other dishes tried: Chicken Francese (an egg omelet with a chicken breast inside covered in lemon juice) and Shrimp Scampi - both mediocre.
Our waiter was great. The salad was good. The drinks and wine choices were good. And deserts were ok.
They didn't charge me for the clams which was nice, and a credit to the service.
You can find so many better Italian places on the shoreline. There is literally no reason to come back.

By far the best dining experience I have had in a while. The food was delicious. It also had traditional Italian touch including home made pasta and Olives with the complimentary bread. Dinner salad included in the meal. Chicken Parm thin, crispy and plentiful. Service exceptional, thanks Michael, Prices less than far inferior places.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and our server Enea did an amazing job making us feel welcome and taken care of. Top-notch service and a true taste of Italy. Can’t wait to come back!
