The Turtle Cafe has the best Breakfast food in the Westbrook area!!! You not only get wonderful food, but if you sit at the counter you get unbelievable entertainment from the Chef/Cooks!!! We went but three times during the week that we stayed in Westbrook. 😋👍

Turtle Cafe was a best in class food experience. Killer food and friendly atmosphere. And the flavors, lord have mercy. The hash benedict knocked me out! A must visit!!

The table chairs restroom general restaurant ambiance was in our opinion a little funky maybe even grungy but my wife and I both enjoyed the food and service. The French breakfast had lovely crepes and lots of fresh fruit.

By far the best breakfast on the shoreline. We love the clam hash, lobster crepes, salted caramel French toast, and eggs Benedict’s. Mom and daughter duo providing excellent service, and the young man cooking is always on point. Got to meet the owner, Ricky today. You can tell he loves what he does. 10/10 highly recommend this place if you’re looking for breakfast in the OS/Westbrook area.
This place is one of the best restaurants in Westbrook and we can see why. They have an extensive breakfast and lunch menu, the staff is friendly and the food is superb. I had the crepes with mixed berries, caramelized apples and cream cheese with a fruit compote and whipped cream on top. Also got a side of a generous portion of bacon (4 slices). My husband got a savory crepe - smoked salmon and scrambled eggs - also delicious. They have outdoor seating, which was packed when we came but we had out choice of indoor tables. The many turtle statues on the window sills were fun to look at. We will go here again for breakfast on our way out of town - it was that good.

We went down to the shore for an overnighter, to celebrate Louise's birthday. We arrived around noon, and decided to try a new place. The Turtle Cafe is now our new Go-To Place on the shore! Louise, you need to understand, is the Queen of Breakfast, so we generally have no need for breakfast spots. If we went there, we'd end up saying "but Louise makes this, only so much better!" But the menu here was very extensive for a "breakfast place". And then we ordered--two frittata's, this time around--and they were absolutely DELICIOUS!! There's so much more on the menu, so we have any number of vacations in our future, on which occasions we can continue to explore this wonderful place and its wonderful food
What an adorable little cafe! True small town feeling! Great coffee! I had no idea a fruit parfait could taste this good. Very sweet staff. Would definitely come back.

There needs to be a 100 star option on Google. This place is SO GOOD!!! We came back a second day and if we're in the area longer, we would be back every day! Small breakfast café where you can watch the cook make your meal on the other side of the counter. Everything is made to order and there is a ton to choose from. Based on what we saw, you can't go wrong! Everything was absolutely delicious, our kid even scraped his plate! The best breakfast out we've ever had.
