We went for dinner and sat in the covered patio section. It was pretty quiet, just three other tables were filled. It is a nice low-key place. The bar area seems like a fun place to meet up with friends. The food was excellent. We had the Brussel sprouts and the calamari appetizers, which were delicious. We had the seafood gumbo, burger and linguini vongole for entrees. They were all great.
We had a reservation at 2:30pm on a Saturday and because they were closing for some time before dinner they were unable to make what we asked for (e.g. they wouldn't make a steak for a salad, they would not make a second aperol spritz). If we had known they wouldn't be able to serve us properly for lunch we would have gone somewhere else.
To start we had the crispy rice sashimi which was delicious. Started with the feisty ginger cocktail. It wasn't boozy tasting but more on the ginger beer side. I then switched to wine with our dinner. I had the winter salmon as my entree. It was fantastic. Well cooked and flavorful. It came with pieces of roasted butternut squash which complemented it well.
