I came for a special occasion dinner and Allium did not disappoint. All the reviews are spot on. The service, ambiance, and food are all 5-stars. This is one for the best most creative and delicious dining experiences in Connecticut. We’ll absolutely be back.

This restaurant is my favorite one in Fairfield county. The food is prepared in such a way that all items are flavorful. The chef and staff are professionals who devote all of their attention to their food. Make a reservation now. You will not regret it

What an amazing spot - Allium Eatery is a must visit. The food is Michelin quality, and the staff demonstrate passion and friendliness. The restaurant’s ambiance is very comfortable. You can’t help but see and experience the hard work that went into everything. I would recommend Allium to anyone looking for a superlative dining experience.

I just had my birthday dinner here. I have been wanting to come here for awhile. The place is very small but they have seating outside. The food coming from a foodie was amazing!! Best meal that I have had in awhile. I would say the best in fairfield county. The way they pair the foods together and use local ingredients is awesome. The portions are modest but have powerful flavors! This is my new favorite place.
Cute place. Was really excited to check this place out. Found the service to be average, but all servers to be very nice. They always seemed one to two steps behind. The food while very fresh was just to a bit avante-garde for my taste. Just to many flavors going on in some dishes (cavatelli) and (burrata and hot pepper combo). Although nothing was “bad”, I wouldn’t order one thing I had again - I understand I’m the odd man out according to the reviews but afraid nothing noteable enough to draw me back again. I can tell this establishment is certainly a labor of love and wish them nothing but the BEST!

Wonderful food. Outstanding service. Such a tiny place, but oh so good. The outdoor seating is welcome....giving opportunity for more people to experience this little gem.

Allium is our go-to for date night and family dinner. It’s a guaranteed delicious meal made from farm-fresh ingredients, beautifully curated and thoughtfully prepared. And the service is impeccable. Tonight my husband and I enjoyed the zucchini blossoms, bison tartare and lamb belly to start, with a crisp Sancerre, followed by halibut and a gorgeous vegetarian entree. I’m including a photo of the menu so you can read all ingredients. Also including a photo of a juicy Pinot Noir recommenced by our server. Allium is the most consistently delectable restaurant we’ve found in Westport. Highly highly recommend.

I'm never disappointed! I've eaten there a few times with friends, and even when I wasn't sure about what we ordered to share, I 100% loved everything. I wish I could go every day to try each item on the menu. Inside, it's cozy (well, it's tiny) and table are too close for private conversation, but outside it's delightful, despite the sound of the train.

Wow! If I could give 10 stars, I would easily do so. The restaurant is small but what it lacks in size, it makes up in attention to detail, and an amazing dining experience. Reservations are highly recommended in order to get yourself a table. As soon as we got in, we were greeted and seated. Our server did a wonderful job of explaining the menu and answering questions. We started with the sourdough bread which is made on the premises (very good), served with a brown butter. It was served warm and was delicious. For our appetizer round we shared the pork belly. It was decadent! For our entrees my girlfriend had the duck and I had the elk. Both fishes were outstanding. This was the first time I had elk and it was so tender and flavorful. My girlfriend enjoyed her duck as well. Each enter was played beautifully. For the dessert round we shared a rhubarb tart and it was different but so good. Everyone from the staff was attentive and friendly ensuring our dining experience was top notch. We will be back.

Last minute biryhday breakfast/brunch with wife and 3 yo. Didn't know reservations were required, but they graciously accepted us (at the bar, but on the end away from the bottles.)Daughter enjoyed the cornbread pancakes(mom and I stole bites as well, and also enjoyed.) Wife had the the duck confit hash, and cleaned the plate, the bite I had was delicious. I had the pork tenderloin ciabatta sandwich, which was also excellent. And I'll add it had several ingredients I'm typically not into, namely feta and fresh dill, but I was feeling experimental, and I'm glad I was because it all worked really well together. Top to bottom, it was a great experience and we honestly appreciated the hospitality.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant! The food was inventive and delicious, the ambiance was inviting and elegant but not stuffy, and the service was top notch. Our server Ariel was so knowledgeable about the food and wine, and shared informative and fun insights into and details about the menu. Everything she recommended was excellent. Thanks Ariel! We really enjoyed the foie gras, the pork belly, the duck, and the elk - but honestly I’m confident everything else on the menu would also have been excellent. Can’t wait to get back here!

My husband and I sat at the bar on Friday night and had a memorably delicious and lovely evening. I knew it was going to be a good evening when my Old Fashioned was perfect. Michelle, the owner/chef, was conversational and welcoming. She offered excellent recommendations. Every bite of food was flavorful, unique, and perfectly prepared and presented. We will absolutely be back.
Update: I've since been back to Allium twice (brunch and dinner) and picked up chicken soup when I'm sick. It is always excellent. I just have to point out that Michelle and her team go so far above and beyond in creating a special, personal dining experience. On our most recent visit, I admired the foie gras and lamented that I can't eat it because I am pregnant. They brought over a complimentary, beautifully plated single bite for us to taste. This kind of care and attention elevates an already fabulous experience.

Wonderful dining experience in every way. A perfect combination of upscale delicious food in a relaxed atmosphere. I think this is the first restaurant I have eaten at that requires the entire order at once that I have been happy with the pacing of the meal. Never felt rushed and there was a perfect amount of time between each course. Started with Simon’s bread with beet butter. Crusty dense bread with great flavor and the butter was delicious. Asparagus soup was so light but you got a hint of asparagus in every bite. The addition of the scallops made it luxurious. The pork belly I think was the best I have ever had. So perfectly cooked and not greasy at all. The duck duo was cooked well and flavorful, the dumpling took it over the top, delicious . The steak was also delicious but cooked a little under for me. Carrot cake was great. There were no raisins in the cake ( my preference) but there were plump soft raisins on top so you could have it either way. The special dessert was pineapple cookies and sauce. Absolutely cannot describe it with justice but it was delicious, the pineapple was warm and very soft in flavor, not tangy. I think my only disappointment was the immunity boost cocktail. I was expecting a gingery spice in the flavor but it tasted like a regular margarita. A good margarita but not what I expected. I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to return to try more options.
