We went here a couple of years ago and loved it!!! We finally got a chance to come back and I don’t know what the hell happened. We were early so there was an only few people there. Music was blasting. I don’t get that. The waiter hovered over us like a fly at a picnic. The fried calamari was rotten. We sent it back. I had the chicken scarpierella and it was a plate of chicken drumsticks with Jimmy Dean sausages. My wife had the gnocchi bolognese. Or at least that’s what she ordered. We’re not sure what came out. We’re writing this place off.
I love this restaurant! The food, vibe and the view, the gorgeous peony plants and the spring gardens! I love their soups and salads and fish dishes and pastas. Back in the day, I actually chose Stamford as the location for my Covid shots, just so I could reward myself with lunch at Arezzo following the shot!
Tuscan style restaurant located on the river in west port. Took my wife to dinner for her birthday with the river view. The food was amazing, will definitely Italy go back.
Not really italia food.
Horrible service horrible food, decent atmosphere, but would not recommend some my enemies. The food was horrible cheap tasting. I’d rather go to McDonald’s.
Excellent appetizers, I loved the atmosphere, a nice place to share with friends, a cozy atmosphere by the water, a great sunset afternoon and the drinks were super good, I love it, I'll definitely come back and the pizza is delicious
My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day, they had a set menu which was very limited. We ordered the first course and they brought out soggy mushy squishy calamari that has obviously been sitting out for hours. This was the worst calamari I have ever had in my life. We both had one piece and sent it back. Then they brought out the burrata appetizer and it looked like cafeteria food. I’ve never been to an Italian restaurant with bad calamari and bad burrata. This was awful, save your money.
I have been here many times - I travel to CT to see friends. This is one of my top choices. I do see why people mention the service however I will say that waitstaff has always been polite and friendly. The food for me is outstanding - and I have traveled the globe and eaten at 5 star restaurants. I will be back!
When going to a restaurant it is a 2 way street. Yes the service and food must be above the rim but showing respect gets you a long way! Maybe even homemade cookies without asking for them.
I have been going here for years and the food is simply fantastic! The osso bucco is the best I've ever had and their homemade pasta speaks for itself.
The location on the Saugatuck River is the best in town. Thanks and enjoy!
Arezzo in Westport is truly a gem! Every visit has been an amazing experience. The food is consistently outstanding, with authentic Italian flavors that never disappoint. The staff is warm, attentive, and always makes us feel welcome.
The atmosphere is both elegant and cozy, making it perfect for a date night or a special gathering with friends. And let’s not forget the beautiful water views—they add such a relaxing and picturesque touch to the entire dining experience.
If you’re looking for incredible Italian cuisine paired with excellent service and a stunning location, Arezzo is the place to be. Highly recommend!

First time here. Menu offered a nice selection of appetizers, salads and entrees, plus several specials. We enjoyed veal saltimbocca with mashed potatoes and string beans and the short rib special served with brussel sprouts and carrots. Both were very good, although a bit salty. The bread basket was mediocre. Servers were attentive. When we notified that our request to substitute broccoli rabe for the brussels and carrots was not provided, we were promptly given it as a side dish. We did not feel rushed and were able to stay until we finished our bottle of wine. We enjoyed the atmosphere.
