The food was pretty good overall, the menu fairly authentic Spanish, the service was a little slow but pleasant. All in all it was OK except that the steak was very tough, the plates small, the decor is not very nice, the music is too loud, they served Prosecco in wine glasses, when asked they told us they did not have flutes, that was pretty incredible; they call themselves a WINE BAR.

My first time having tapas. We order a cheese board, with aged manchego cheese, speck and sorrano ham. Both hams were great, and the cheese tasted good. I forgot the names of everything else, but it was all awesome! Basically your average chain that wasn’t cheap.

Outstanding service on one of their busiest days of the year. Went for Mother's Day brunch...from immediately moving us to a lower table for my mother-in-law, to taking great care of me when another customer accidentally knocked over my wine. Great food, excellent, attentive staff and a perfect place to be for brunch!

I visited this restaurant in January and in March. Both times we had flies swarming our table. Yes, gnats or fruit flies. In the middle of winter. One of them went right into our dish and the other went into the wine. There is definitely a pest problem. The staff just nodded when we told them about the fly in the wine. It is too bad because I always loved this restaurant. It needs to close down and have everything wiped down and send in pest control.

Stayed overnight at HiHo Hotel and ventured down to check out Barcelona. So glad we did! Very cool spot with great food. Tapas. Took our time and sampled many tapas. Great wait staff. Truly loved it here!!

I love this place - fun atmosphere and great food and amazing staff a always / I have been coming here since it opened. BUT Your A/C is broken - you need to fix if. You have napkins wrapped around your vents. It was hotter inside outside.

Make a resy or you will be waiting for a while. Went MDW on Saturday w my family. I made a reservation for 730 for 7 ppl. They were PACKED! Ended up seating us in the Bar which was fine. Our server was wonderful and the food came out quickly! Gambas, Beef & Chicken empanadas, muscles, asparagus, scallops, calamari, broccolini were what we stuck with and of course the crepas! I have to say that I've been to other Barcelona's and loved it. This experience was just ok (for me) but My family LOVED IT ALL! Over all great environment, excellent service & good food! All in a reasonable price!

Exit 44 on the Merritt Parkway. If you are near this exit and you are hungry, this is a slam dunk. Marvelous menu with 40 or 50 1 person tapas. We got 2 each Everything was delicious. Wide range of Spanish dishes from veggies to cheese to beef. All top.
due to the pandemic it has been a long while since i have been in a restaurant and doing reviews ...so it was important the first restaurant be a good one and so it was......Barcelona tapas restaurant and bar. ... it had to feel safe...comfortable and have good food... a tent outdoors with spacious seating and a well placed fire pit...thanks for our nice waitress Sophia ...made this a pleasant experience.....i ordered roasted leeks with salsa verde(delicious and my favorite of the three)....shrimps in garlic sauce....and chorizo with spiced figs, flan and a nice verdejo wine.........the only issue that prevented this from being a 5 star review was the temperature of the food...two dishes had to be sent back but once heated up were good......my only regret is that they don't have a sister restaurant much closer to NYC but next time i am visiting my friend in Westport you can be sure i will be headed back to Barcelona

A great place to either have a meal or just some tapas. The service is excellent, quick and efficient. The dining area has 3 different options-bar area, indoor dining and outside dining. For starters we had the calamari and the charcuterie. Both of the appetizers were excellent. The calamari was cooked perfectly while we chose the jamón serrano, chorizo and manchego-Perfect! For our meal we split the Parrillada and the meats were cooked perfectly! Chicken, pork, steak and sausage, what else do you need. The meats were marinated perfectly and tasted even better. Plenty of leftovers because the portion was so large. Two thumbs up!

I don't mind recommendations if I ask - but if I ask for something that I would like to drink with what I ordered please don't give me feedback, again unless I ask, as to why I shouldn't order that item - not like I am an Iron Chef - but I have run/owned a Restaurant/Cafe/Wine bar and wine and Liquor store - so I know what I like and what goes with what - have had this experience here before and have hesitated to go back - I will not return - cheese/meat plate to go was good but sparse for $18.00 - APERTIVO BOARD: An assortment of Spanish aperitivo snacks to pair with your anytime drinks Marinated Olives, Patatas Bravas, Piquillo Peppers, Fuet, Soria Chorizo, Drunken Goat, Tetilla, Marcona Almonds

Yes is might be more expensive- that's the world we now live in, it's not compared to NYC. The staff was Fantastic and so was the food. The wine was superior and large pours. I had some awful dining experiences in CT. while visiting and this was in a league of it's own.

Prices have skyrocketed. Drinks are skimpy. Service is uneven. Food is still very good. It saddens me that I felt it necessary to write a less than glowing review. Save your money , there are so many other restaurants to choose from.
