One of the most memorable dining experience I’ve ever had. The food is delicious and stunningly plated, and the servers/owners are lovely people and wonderful to have a conversation with. This is one of the best restaurants! The food is exquisite and the service is exceptional. Every dish was absolutely delicious, plus the portions were generous --- appetizers of frogs legs, tuna tartar, and house salad... entrees of ahi tuna, diver scallops, and seafood bouillabaisse... and a luscious chocolate cake for dessert.The family that runs this restaurant are lovely and cater to your every need - adjusting for food allergies, ensuring you have enough delicious bread and dipping oil, providing the proper utensils and plates to share, making sure your BYOB wine is properly opened and served. We were here before the pandemic and this is our first time back -- we felt totally COVID safe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

My partner and I went here for their price fixed Valentines Day dinner. The restaurant itself is quite a small space, which makes for a very intimate experience. It is owned by a mother and daughter and the father was hosting this night. They really made the experience so wonderful, going out of their way to make sure we were enjoying the experience. We had a 5 course meal and each meal exceeded expectation. I can't report a single complaint and will definitely be returning. Definitely experience this for yourself!!!

This small, family run restaurant is our favorite in Westport. I started with the crab cakes over arugula last night, perfectly crisped letting the sweetness of the crab meat to dominate. The lobster bisque got rave reviews from our friends. I followed it with classic coq au vin, which fell off the bone and melted in the mouth. My wife loved her seared sesame crusted tuna. The braised short ribs were another favorite in our group. Don't skip the desserts! The ricotta pistachio cake was a great finish to the meal.The service is always friendly and well executed. Bistro is BYOB, so you can bring your favorite wines to accompany a great meal.

You must try their $32 per person prix fixe menu! You do however have to order 4 hours in advance but worth the wait! Everything is so fresh and delicious! You don't feel as though you're having takeout. My absolute favorite is the Cauliflower au Gratin!

We were regular customers of Du Soleil for years at the New Canaan and Farmer's Market. With Covid-19, we took advantage of their delivery option and ordered from the restaurant, though we have not yet eaten in. They did not disappoint. We love the variety and everything we've had has been delicious. Beef Bourguignon, Chicken Parm, Empanadas, are some of our favorite dinner options. I love the Chicken Pimento salad, and Edamame salad for lunches for the week. And of course we also grab a salsa or soup to add on to the order as well. Not only is the food excellent, the people are genuine and friendly too. They even gave us complimentary chocolate chip cookies in our last two orders which were outstanding!
The best osso bucco Ever!! Moved to Westport from New York, and hands down the best French restaurant. I'm surprised more people don't know about it. A hidden gem...and the flourless chocolate cake is beyond.

We ordered out from Bistro du Soliell for the first time and it terrific. The people there were warm and friendly and our dishes were truly excellent. The cos au van and salmon were wonderful. I had the sausages and peppers which was the best. We will indeed be back. A little diamond in Saugatuck.

We had takeout last weekend and from start to finish it was delicious. And the price can't be beat : 4 courses for $32 and there was enough for two meals for each of us. One of their desserts is chocolate chip cookies - you can get them pre-made or you can bring the dough home so you can bake them yourself and have them just out of the oven - perfect! The woman I dealt with, Marie, was an absolute delight. She was very helpful and warm and made the whole experience something special. As I was writing this I looked at this week's menu (I guess it changes each week) and we will definitely be ordering again.

We have visited Bistro Du Soleil a number of times after finding this hidden gem. They have a magnificent pre-fixed menu right now for takeout that is simply marvelous. They have a changing menu and everything that we have tried has been divine. You can taste the true joy that the owners Maria, Soledad and Bernardo have in their cooking. From the friendly service when ordering and picking up the food, to the recognition as if you are family with them, I would highly recommend that you try their wonderful cooking, see the great artwork in their restaurant, and experience what food tastes like when cooked with Joy. They even prepared a special fish dish for me from freshly caught fish that I caught in our local waters. Order from Bistro Du Soleil, I am confident that you will leave with a smile.
