This deli has been consistently great since the first time I ate here 20 or so years ago. I always stop here when I am working in the area.

3.5 stars for my first visit to this local business. I really like that there is a sign indicating they do NOT serve Boars Head meat. I did ask if they had any in house roasts/meats, like roast beef or turkey, but the worker told me to ask up front.
There are lots of sandwich options, side salads, hot food options, soups, and there sre a few small tables and counter seating inside. They have fresh iced tea, iced coffee, lemonade, bottled and canned drinks, chips, pastries and bread.
I ordered a tuna with muenster cheese on toasted wheat. It was very good and quickly made.
The store was clean and the staff was nice. It seems a lot of locals and regulars frequent this place.
Small parking lot off of the Post Road. I did not see a restroom.
I would stop by again if in the area.

I like this place. The only complaint that i have is the price. I when one day, I asked for a plate 2 proteins and vegetables. The price was $25, I was surprised but it was ok. Two days later, I stopped by asked for the same plate. The price was $12. So i don't know who gives the prices

I just read the Westport "paper" regarding Carmine and his selfless act of compassion towards the team that fought the fire on Thanksgiving Day. We have not lived in the area for over 10 years but having grown up in Westport and then Weston, Calise's is not unfamiliar to me- always a great place! To read this story brought chills. THANK YOU!

We had Calise cater food for a birthday party. The food was delicious, especially the eggplant parm and chicken piccata.

A hidden gem in Westport. The food is always so good, they get great imported things from Italy that you can purchase. Homemade bread from the Bronx. Awesome cookies.

Calise's in Westport is a decades-long standing institution offering the freshest, most delicious breakfast, lunch, dinner, and catering option in Fairfield County. Owner Carmine and his friendly staff go above and beyond to make everyone feel like a regular. Looking for a catered party? They do it. Pre-made meals? They have them. Fresh Specials? 6-Days a week. Come to Calises for all your food needs. And they import their bread daily from Arthur Avenue! By far one of if not the best delis in CT. And it's also home to "The Dobransky", Fairfield County's best sandwich!

Been coming for years. Last couple years the prices often fluctuate (for same order) whenever I order a bagel or bacon egg n cheese. Today I ordered the usual bagel with avocado and bacon and was charged $9 for one bagel, something that was always $6 dollars. Insane price for a bagel. So many other options in town that don’t over charge you. Hot bar food is good but also terribly over priced (and price fluctuates depending on which worker it is)
Bought the meatballs to go really really good and eggplant parm the same really good italian sauce

Delicious hand crafted sandwiches!
I must’ve visited 3 times this week alone the sandwiches are so fresh the prosciutto with fresh mozz is ? highly recommend if you’re in the area
Great food
An historic convenience store that warrants a 5 simply because it survives as a family-owned small business for over 50 years, even with Cumberland Farms next door. I came here as a kid for junk food and to hang out. It is still a pretty basic store but also a good deal pricewise, considering the location.
Calise's is the best!!
