I’ve been to several Cava locations. The food is always good. The service at this one was not great. The customer in front of us was taking a long time to decide what she wanted and there was only one employee working the assembly line. At least 4 employees walked past us without helping move the line along, and it didn’t look like they were working on another task. I use the Cava app and I was excited to redeem my free pita chips. At the register I scanned my code in the app and I asked the cashier if the pita chips had been taking off transaction and she said “no, that was for cinnamon pita chips.” I guess I had accidentally hit “redeem” on the cinnamon pita chips and the app wouldn’t let me change it. We had already paid for the regular pita chips (what we wanted) so I asked for the cinnamon pita chips. She said “you have to pay for them.” We literally had just been over that I had redeemed the free cinnamon pita chips? I don’t really get what the misunderstanding was and I didn’t appreciate the implication that I expected something without paying for it.

My daughter loves Cava and she made a mistake and ordered her food to wrong Cava location. But the general manager at Westport, Sadie helped us correct the problem! She was extremely kind and patient, even though the store was very busy. We had a great experience and delicious food thanks to Sadie!

I wish I could give this place 0 stars but unfortunately 1 is the minimum. The food was a huge disappointment but I’ll admit that is very subjective. The thing I would really like to talk about is the customer service. If there would be a price for the worst customer experience ever this place would be the winner. The whole restaurant was dirty and the floors were sticky like they couldn’t be bothered to pick up a broom. The staff was very unhelpful, they look they are listening to you but they don’t, and they do the exact opposite of what you ask them. I asked for meat, they gave me chicken; sauce on the side please, they put a lot on top; I asked for a bottle of water, they didn’t include it. Truth be told the food was so bad I threw away and went eat somewhere else because not even the dogs wanted it.

Excellent customer service and the employees are very helpful and friendly. The food is so good. So many toppings, meat, etc to choose from. It’s affordable and healthy. I will be coming back soon. It was worth the visit.

Bad customer experience, came in with a friend and she asked for white rice; employee stated to another employee “it’s cause she doesn’t like brown people”??? right in front of her face. Then proceeded to say brown rice is healthier. Are you serious? cashier stood in front of me while I waited to pay literally on her phone texting and laughing not making eye contact with me until she was finished on her phone. I ordered 2 orders of the side pita chips and one of the new snack thing with the sauce. They gave me two. That’s okay i understand mistakes happen. Went back to the front to ask respectfully, cashier throws them in a bag and hands them to me without saying a word while the employee in the bad is shaking her head and rolling her eyes. I love cava and coming here to this location since it’s close to my school but that was like so unpleasant and I will not come to this location again.
