Fatto a Mano is the best! Their sourdough is incredible-a must have at home, and we also enjoy their delicious coffee. Highly recommend!

Pierluigi and his team are absolutely exceptional! He created a wonderful experience for our wedding in July with a traditional live millefoglie cake. Millefoglie has always been my husband’s and my favorite, as we both grew up having it as our birthday cakes. When Pierluigi was able to create this as our wedding cake live, it meant so much to us. Not only was it exceptionally delicious—light, flavorful, and perfectly balanced—but our guests still can’t stop talking about it. It was truly the highlight of our wedding reception.

Pierluigi and his team also created custom decorative breads for our bread table during cocktail hour. The display was so detailed and beautifully arranged, and the bread itself was just as delicious.

We have been coming to Fatto a Mano Bakery for awhile, and everything is always crafted to perfection. The sourdough, focaccia, biscotti, pastries, cappuccino, olive oil cake—you name it—are the closest you’ll get to being in Italy, and every bite is absolutely delicious. Plus, the panettone during Christmas time is now a staple in our family! Using the simplest yet highest quality ingredients, Pierluigi crafts everything to perfection. He is so kind and a truly wonderful person, and you can tell he pours so much passion and love into everything he creates!

We always look forward to visiting his bakery and enjoying all the treats. Thank you so much, Pierluigi—grazie mille!

You expect the food to be good, and yet it still exceeds your expectations. Do not pass this place without picking up something to enjoy, you will not regret it.

I never take the time to write reviews, but I feel so strongly about how grossly overpriced fatto a mono is I felt I should warn others.

I am not afraid to spend money, and I have lived in the Fairfield/Westport community for 35 years.

A small loaf of Italian bread $13? And then an additional 50 cents to slice it?

A small box of Limoncello cookies (exactly 12 half dollar size cookies) that were hard and stale, tasting like last weeks stock. $15.
Made fresh daily? Not these!

The best was $25, Twenty five dollars! For a small bag of hard, very ordinary cantucci biscotti. Maybe 6 pieces…. Again, hard and crumbly, not fresh.

Nothing in the store had marked prices, and I wasn’t paying attention and just tapped my CC. That’s my fault for sure, but be warned you are paying 3 to 4 times the going rate for average, middle of the road backed goods.

I tried to call to ask if the $25 for the biscotti was correct…. While they were open for business, the phone immediately goes to voicemail and directs you to email if you have a question or want to make a comment.

There are many great bakery options in Fairfield and Westport. Fatto a Mano is a one and done in my book.

Insanely expensive, average goods that taste like they have been sitting for some time.

Came into try millefoglie and left with our new favorite Italian bakery by a landslide. Extremely authentic selection all around. Pierluigi was so friendly and welcoming.

I am saddened by the behavior of the man with glasses who both takes your order and works at the register. I have felt so rushed through my order that I have not been able to order everything that I need, and I’ve found myself going to the bakery less and less (and it’s right by my office) I’ve been made to feel like an inconvenience just for wanting to patronize their business. I really wish they would bring back the preordering feature they used to have at the market, not just for catering.

Lovely Service, great indoor & outdoor seating area. The Cornettos have a wonderful soft , flakey, & fresh taste. Good quality selections of authentic Italian baked goods.

Typical overhyped, overpriced Westport. I have purchased the donuts at the farmers market in the past, and they were amazing. When I got one here it was $7 and not very fresh. The parking is horrible, only a few 15 minute spaces, and the tables are limited to 30 minutes. Forget meeting a friend for a coffee or lunch. The last time I went in, which will be my last, there was hardly any bread left, and it was only 11 in the morning. I then considered buying some fresh pasta. $12 for a small box. Seriously, I think they make up the prices as they go. There is an amazing cafe that opened last year in Norwalk on the way to Stews with great parking, lots of tables, great bread, etc, etc. Go there if you want a warm welcome.

Fatto a Mano Bakery is the real deal. Everything tastes homemade in the best way — rich, authentic flavors and great quality across the board. The staff is kind and welcoming, and you can tell they care about what they do. Overall, worth going out of your way for.

It was really good. The coffee and pastries are tasty and the service was nice. There is not a lot of room to set but they try to limit people to 30 minutes and that seems to work out pretty well

Went here Saturday morning as I had heard good things, We had some lovely pastries and bought a very good loaf of sourdough. So that's the good, the bad was the coffee! I had really high hopes, they buy from Ilse who are an amazing local roaster so they had all the ingredients to make a great shot. I ordered a takeaway Americano with space for milk, because I just wanted a strong coffee. The barista acknowledged the order when handing me my drink but he had already filled right to the rim. The picture is after I took the lid off spilling a decent amount over my hand. You can see how over diluted and weak it is. I'm not sure why baristas feel the need to fill the cup up so much, the resulting drink was thin and unpleasant.
