The service was polite. They kept up with our table. The drinks were fine. They did take a while. The food was not good at all. Cold lasagna. Soggy salad. Uncooked chicken. I think it was an off day. I've been before when it was great. I'd still return. Just had a bad experience, this time.

We have driven by Finalmente 100 times and always planned a visit. Finally made it there Sat night for a birthday. Unbelievable food! Delicious salad to start with excellent bread and an olive spread. We had the primavera pasta and the cod and shared. Both dishes were absolutely exceptional. The cod was probably the tastiest I have ever experienced. Excellent generous portions and attentive professional service. Reasonable and solid wine list. Best part of the experience ----- playing Italian arias!! A bit cramped --- tiny restaurant that could use another 200 sq ft, but I am already thinking about my next visit. Halibut next!!!

This is my favorite Italian restaurant around here. I have never been disappointed and love the menu! The lasagna is the best ever. I can't remember what else we had but everyone always loves EVERYTHING. Service is superb and the ambiance sublime. Can't wait to return soon!

We absolutely love dining at Finalmente. The food is outstanding. The Bucatini Carbonara and Andre’s homemade cheesecake are not to be missed! Whether it’s your first time or you’re a regular, Andre and Mary make you feel like family. They are incredibly kind and go out of their way to make it such a special experience each time you return.
An excellent restaurant in Westport. The staff is plentiful, very attentive and "proud of the house". Food is perfectly prepared. Fish dishes are outstanding and pasta is great. Andre from the island of Ponza in the Latina Province of Lazio, is there and active among the diners. And unlike many other local restaurants, does not add the credit card surcharge scam to the bill. Highly recommended!Parking: Small area right in front with room for about ten cars or so.

Tldr: Wow wow wow!! Please come here! This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in a small building is the BEST Italian food in all of Ct. this place is as authentic as you can get and I cannot speak more highly. This was a dinner for my mom for her birthday. After looking around for place we settled on this place. I made a reservation in advance because the place has only 6 four people tables, and really fills up. We came early and got seated right away. We got a bread basket (which they source from a local bakery) and it was delish! We then got a few specials linguini with artichoke, tomatoes, and shrimp, as well as the veal parm, lasagna, and calmamri. The shrimp pasta s to die for, and the lasagna had the best sauce. Their tomato sauce is 100% home made. The star of the night was the veal. Holly wow I have never had such great veal. It was light and didn't feel heavy. Had 0 grease and was the most flavorful. The desserts were out of this world! The tarimisu was delish and really so creamy and light. The lemoncello was amazing and the best palate cleanser. The service was impeccable and I will 100% be back! This will be a staple place as my parent tend to visit a lot. Located steps from downtown is the best hidden gem. There is parking which is a plus!! Though not many spots is great none the less if you can snag a spot!

My Wife surprised me with a birthday reservation at this wonderful Italian Restaurant in Westport. Owners Chef Andre and Mary (we spoke with her learning about their backstory) established this classy restaurant 18 years ago. The restaurant space is romantic, the staff - "Thank You" Nick for great and attentive service - is active and involved throughout the dinner service. The food selections and wine were wonderful - so nice to have a Caesar Salad dressing not drowning the plate! Mary was constantly present in the dining room, checking with the Guests as to their experience. Love this kind of involvement in a restaurant operation. This was our first time at this inviting space and absolutely won't be our last. Can't wait to return!

Had a lovely birthday dinner for my spouse with friends there recently. As usual we were greeted warmly, delivered usual friendly service and food was outstanding. Homemade pastas, deserts and a warm ambiance makes this our go to place. Love that their menu is smaller and not an endless reading of items. Quality over quantity. Highly recommend. Thank you for another great experience.

This restaurant is superb. We've been a number of times now and they are always spot on. You can tell they actually care about you as a customer. The food and service is perfection. Reservations are a must as it is quite cozy inside but they have outdoor seating which is great. You won't be disappointed. We love this restaurant!
