The best steakhouse in CT. The Wagyu NY Strip steak was the best I've ever had. I've never had a bad meal here; it's one of my favorite date night spots. The service is always friendly, albeit a little slow at times. The ambience is romantic and relaxing.
Parking: There is a valet option, but we never have trouble finding free parking in the same lot.

Was here last night with a large group. Reservation made months in advance. We were not seated for 45 minutes beyond our reservation - waited at the bar for 10-15 minutes before anyone even looked up to take our order.
I completely understand this was Christmas Eve - easy to get into the weeds, but there appeared to be as many staff members as patrons and nobody kept in touch with us, offered updates, apologized, offered a round of drinks etc.
We were finally seated and put in appetizers - they were outstanding. I had the bone in NY strip which was over cooked, over buttered and quite thin. Everything is ala cart. For. $69 steak I wasn't impressed at all. Cold baked potato and undercooked lobster tail.
The experience left a bad taste in my mouth and I have no reason to go back. Poor communication and food/presentation that doesn't come close to justifying the price.

We have eaten here many times and it’s usually a good experience. This evening they were very busy and kitchen served poorly prepared food. All restaurants have off nights which can be overlooked. When our party brought this to the attention of management instead of trying to make it right he became incredibly defensive and dismissive at a level that approached arrogance. Maybe he was just having an off day too but this behavior is not something I will overlook. We won’t be back.

Best dinner ever yet again!!!! Ive probably eaten here over 100 times and its by far the best restaurant Ive ever been too. The staff is the best! From the moment Isreal meets you at the valet stand you will feel like you’re a celebrity for the evening. Theres always multiple managers on duty watching the dinning rooms to keep drinks and food flowing. All the staff is AMAZING!! The food is delicious. Definitely try the homemade bread and ‘Danny’s’ homemade whipped butter or the homemade sausage bread from his families secret recipe. Theres nothing bad on the menu and everything is always fresh. Steaks, lamb, gnocci, to the roasted cauliflower is to die for!! Save room for dessert because everything is homemade by their very own pastry chef! The napoleon is out of this world. 10 STARS!!!!

A New York City experience in our backyard. We dined in the Garden room in a spacious booth and it reminded me of the days at Tavern on the Green’s Crystal Room. The food was delicious as expected coming from an family owned business for generations. We enjoyed a seafood tower, beet and cesear salads, steaks, pasta and so many sides..love the double stuffed baked potato and asparagus. The owner treated us to amazing desserts all of which were delicious. The Napolean is a staple not to be missed. Thank you for a great meal. And, the best part we were able to talk and hear our guests as a party of 6.

Food is great but the staff steals the show. From the moment we walked in, everyone was friendly, upbeat and just fun! We were celebrating a birthday so we were looking to have a good time and we most certainly did! Our waiter, Angelo, was the absolute best! Definitely recommend for a special occasion. We sampled just about everything; Clams Oreganata, Crackling Calamari Salad, Tomahawk for three with Mushrooms and Truffle Fries and Banana Cream Pie, Carrot Cake and French Toast for dessert! The steak was cooked to perfection. The apps were good. The mushrooms could have used a bit more seasoning and the desserts were delicious! Will definitely be back!

This place was a delight as soon as we walked in, from reception to all staff. The menu is carefully curated with options for everyone, even vegetarians. Amazing flavor in every bite!! We opted for wine with our meals, so we must return for cocktails. We celebrated a birthday and several staff members came out with dessert and sang to us. Danny, was very involved in customer satisfaction and even gave a tour of the restaurant. I give him lots of credit for creating an environment of team effort and care to satisfy needs of patrons. I would love to return with my family next time.
