The restaurant was amazing. We arrived at 7:30 and the restaurant was packed. The entire restaurant turned over at the same time so when our entrees went in we waited almost an hour between apps and entree The good news is the food was worth the wait. The ambiance was really beautiful, especially the garden room, but all three rooms are inviting and intimate. We will definitely be back. Hopefully the service will be more consistent with the food Everyone from the valet to the management were friendly and accommodating.

Wow so much fun! Our waiter Angelo was amazing! Price is high but for so many good reasons. Food was phenomenal, we had tuna tartare, fried calamari salad and for our meals my wife had the salmon and I got the tomahawk ribeye with the green peppercorn sauce. They also gave us sausage bread for free to start. Not one dish was bad or lacking in anyway.

The service was subpar....I did not find the server especially engaging and responsive and I have come to expect THE BEST when I dine at Gabriele's! We were sitting next to another server's table..."Hi, I'm Will. I'll be your server today." and were sad we did not have Will.

This was our last visit. We have eaten at Gabriel's several times since you can't beat its convenience before Westport Playhouse shows. However, our dinner for 4 with a 6:30 pm reservation was a disaster. Curtain was at 8 pm, and we were on time. It took nearly 45 minutes to get our first course so after asking several times how things were going, the waiter brought out our main courses and our salads as well at 7:40. We had told him a few minutes earlier to just skip our salads and we would have our main courses. He took our first courses off the bill but we didn't enjoy our 10 minutes to eat dinner. The food might have been good - it has been in the past- but we wouldn't really know since we had to eat it in 10 minutes. The waiter invited us to return after the show for desserts on them which we passed on since we had to drive back to Greenwich. Had I been the owner, I'd have probably comped the whole thing. When questioned several times how our dinner was coming, all we got was something like “ I have it under control or the owner is aware”. A simple apology from the beginning would have been more appropriate. I was a waiter once. Either the waiter forgot to turn in our order or more likely, the kitchen was slammed, but they were not that crazed when we sat down, and we would have ordered earlier if we had seen our waiter earlier. Oh well. There are better choices in Westport pre theater even if they aren't quite as convenient.

This was our first time and we came to celebrate a birthday. It was wonderful, the food and service were outstanding, beautiful ambiance, just lovely and we will be back and would recommend this restaurant to others

Very disappointed in this restaurant. I called today to see if they had any non-alcoholic wines on Their wine list. I was told they had non-alcoholic beer. (Must have been a joke) I was told I was free to bring my own bottle of non-alcoholic wine and the corkage fee was $50.00. Very accommodating for a person that can't drink alcohol because of a medical reason and just wanted to ba able to enjoy dinner with friends that do drink wine with alcohol. Not sure I would recommend Gabrielle's to anyone I know.

My fiancée took me here for my birthday and wow this place blew us away! The drinks were delicious and very unique, I ordered "No Cap", highly recommend this. Our waiter actually recommended that one to me as well as food and he never steered us wrong all night. The steak was probably one of the juiciest, most tender steaks I've ever had. The desserts were great too, and they even gave us some free cake and sung happy birthday to me. The inside of the place is beautiful, especially the room with the white wisteria hanging from the ceiling. 10/10 highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a fantastic meal!

Gabrielle's in Westport used to be my favorite restaurant in town until today. I took my daughter for dinner after watching a play at the Westport Playhouse. She went to the bathroom and after taking more than 10 minutes I thought it was odd, so I went downstairs to check on her. She was washing her hands and said to me :" Mommy I was washing my hands because I fell on the floor because it's full of water. I slipped. And my pants are full of water. My butt hurts. I wasn't expecting water in a bathroom in the restaurant." I went upstairs to speak to the manager because the bathroom was full of water, and my daughter slipped. The manager to my surprise, a Colombian woman, Catalina brushed. I'm guessing because the person that fell was a child instead of an adult client? No apologies no nothing. She was so wet she asked to take her pants off before getting into the car because she was cold. Bathroom water ! That's a way to end a "nice bout night out". You'd think they would at least took out the ice cream off the bill to at least try to make clients not feel they had a shitty night , like literally. Nothing. At bedtime she said: that's the first time I fall of a wet bathroom at a restaurant. Gabriele's of Westport

Outrageous prices for mediocre food. Service was lovely but overcrowded seating. Wouldn't go back.

Gabrielle is a favorite of ours for so many reasons. The ambiance in their covered patio feels like you've stepped in to a luxurious enchanted garden! The menu is extensive and creative. A nice surprise is the addition of delicious mocktails. Renata, our server, was delightful and helpful. Our dinner was excellent: the steak and onion rings perfection as was the John Dory prepared Provençal. Someone at every table was celebrating a birthday or anniversary. The dessert preparation with the exciting flare was great fun!

Lunch here was an absolute delight. Each of us had 2 courses, all different, and every one of them was absolutely delicious. We couldn't stop raving. Can't wait to return.

Four of us dined in the main area and it was almost empty because of the time(3:00, Sunday). Two of us had the rack of lamb and it was served on a mound of fluffy and buttered mashed potatoes. The lamb was cooked to a perfect medium rare . It was very flavorful and juicy . The others had scalloped and braised short ribs which they raved over. The tower of seafood was also delicious with the exception of the lobster, which was chewy. The service was top-notch and the timing was just right with no attempt to rush us out. Love this place!

Great menu - not just a steakhouse. Waitstaff very engaging and helpful. Management very visible and warmly welcoming. Has become “the spot” for birthday and anniversary celebrations.

Absolutely phenomenal experience as usual. You can never walk out of there disappointed! It was our son's birthday and he had never experienced Gabriele's. He was thoroughly impressed at 23!! Then when they brought out their signature birthday surprise, he was shocked at the detail and presentation! Thank you for a wonderful experience once again :)
