I'm a self-admitted acai snob. I first tried it in Brazil 3 years ago. It was amazing. Since then, I'm yet to find an acai bowl in the US I liked. I have never even found one I would try a second time. GG & Joe is that place. I found it this week, and I've already been back. It is the best acai bowl I've had in the US. I've had the GG & Joe and the Berry Sweet. Both were excellent. I have my go to place for a quick affordable lunch in Westport.

GG & Joe is an absolute gem in Westport! Their Salted Caramel Cold Brew is outstanding, smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I also tried the Strawberry Matcha, which was equally impressive and so unique. Their house-made almond milk elevates every drink to another level. This café is a must-visit if you’re in Westport. Highly recommend!

My coworker took my 7 year old son here last week without me and introduced him to an açaí bowl. I wasn't sure if he would like it and I was quickly informed he devoured it. It was a coconut base with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and Nutella drizzle. He had a little left so he let me take a bite and it was AMAZING! I have been back twice this week for pastries for the office and iced chai lattes and avocado toast for myself. The food is incredible and fresh. The people are so friendly. I am not sure if it is the owner who has waited on me twice this week but she is lovely! I'll be back tomorrow!

Will never be returning. First of all, I have brought pet to this establishment before and have never been bothered. My dog is 10 pounds. Today I was standing in line for 5 minutes, with my dog, who was sitting quietly at my feet. After already waiting in line, when it was my turn to order I was told by the cashier that no dogs are allowed in the store. I was not even allowed to order my coffee even though I had been standing in line with the dog that entire time. I was essentially kicked out of the store. How does a coffee shop with a huge outdoor space in downtown Westport not allow dogs? And why wouldn’t you tell me before I wasted my time standing in line? How about sign on the door…? This is extremely disappointing because I did enjoy their coffee, but I can no longer support this business.

I am a frequent diner at GG and joes and only recently have noticed that the granola has seed oils and the peanut butter is gross skippy! Come on... go to BJs and buy the big organic peanut butter and find a different source for granola!
While I appreciate your response, I also must add that the reason I was shocked about the peanut butter and seed oils was mostly because of the in house made syrups and also the overall cafe menu. We had been eating the peanut butter and granola for a while and it wasn't until I saw the bags of granola you were selling that I realized about the ingredients and was surprised. The peanut butter too. The people are happy to pay, we just want healthy things!

The avocado toast is incredibly delicious, and the place itself is lovely. Everything is fresh and high-quality. The strawberry matcha is a bit on the sweeter side but still very flavorful. Overall, a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it!

GG & Joe on Westport's Main Street revealed itself as a buzzing social spot during a Saturday visit. The modern space, featuring navy chevron accents and varied seating options, was filled with families and well-dressed locals rather than the laptop crowd. The chocolate chip cookie proved to be fresh and delicious, living up to its reputation.
The interior design strikes an upscale-casual balance that fits its Westport location, though during this particular Saturday visit, finding a quiet corner would have been challenging given the lively crowd. With prices ranging $10-20, it positions itself in the premium coffee shop category.
