My family and I had lunch at GG & Joe in Westport, and I was really disappointed to see that all of their food and drinks are served in plastic containers and paper plates, including the utensils. Even worse, they don’t have any recycling policy, which is terrible for the environment. In today’s world, we need to be more responsible, and a place like this should be doing its part.
It’s possible that they’re even breaking Westport’s town laws related to recycling and single-use plastics. Until they start recycling and making an effort to follow the local regulations, I won’t be buying from this restaurant again. I’ve also reached out to their corporate office to suggest they adopt a recycling policy. Hopefully, they make a change soon.

I went to GG &Joe because it is independently run and owned. as I do not like to go to chain cafes restaurants and stores. I would like to be both environmental and careful with my health. GG and Joe is on the water I broughts my own cup so they could pour the iced coffee in it. Or hot coffee.. But they required me to use their plastic and paper disposable cups. Please Westport is on the water. Most other cafes I go to realize how being environmental is the right thing to do. Look at our weather, look at the storms, draughts other species. Please give that care.

I absolutely love the food at GG&Joe but man I hate how loud the place is. I try to come here so that I can enjoy a drink or a bowl while I work but it’s literally impossible. I asked on multiple visits if it was possible to lower the volume even just a little bit (mind you it was just me and a few other people) and one of the girls told me they can’t because the owners are pretty strict on having the music that loud.
Please do something about it it’s unbearable lol

Gg and Joes is for everyone! When I come in I never feel uncomfortable or out of place, I come in to order and feel welcomed and excited to get my dragon fruit bowl, which tastes amazing along with the purple rain smoothie and tasty treats they have as well! I love the Gg and Joes family and will continue to support.
