I'm a self-admitted acai snob. I first tried it in Brazil 3 years ago. It was amazing. Since then, I'm yet to find an acai bowl in the US I liked. I have never even found one I would try a second time. GG & Joe is that place. I found it this week, and I've already been back. It is the best acai bowl I've had in the US. I've had the GG & Joe and the Berry Sweet. Both were excellent. I have my go to place for a quick affordable lunch in Westport.
GG & Joe is an absolute gem in Westport! Their Salted Caramel Cold Brew is outstanding, smooth, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. I also tried the Strawberry Matcha, which was equally impressive and so unique. Their house-made almond milk elevates every drink to another level. This café is a must-visit if you’re in Westport. Highly recommend!
My coworker took my 7 year old son here last week without me and introduced him to an açaí bowl. I wasn't sure if he would like it and I was quickly informed he devoured it. It was a coconut base with bananas, strawberries, blueberries, and Nutella drizzle. He had a little left so he let me take a bite and it was AMAZING!
