This is our second time dining here recently, after a long absence. We were reminded how good everything was that we returned quickly. I can see why this place gets a bad rep and is a complete ghost town on a Saturday night: you have to know which dishes to order and which to steer clear of. For example, the Brussel sprout salad, crispy artichokes and penne vodka are fresh, innovative, and delicious. I got food poisoning from the Ahi tuna. I did order it rare so that’s a little bit on me. But it still should’ve been safe so that’s on them.
I know because it was the only unique item I ate among our group. And it was raw fish so that was a big clue.
So why 3 stars? Well I don’t think any place deserves a 1. The atmosphere was nice, the service was good, and everyone loved their food. Even me, until it made me sick.
