Stopped by for brunch today. I ordered an Eggs Benedict - style entree. The potatoes that came with it were literally cold to the touch, and the 'poached' eggs were so overcooked that the yolks were solid. They offered to replace it, but since my wife had already been served I passed so she would not have to wait to eat. Left the restaurant hungry and irritated.

3/2/24 Went to celebrate my wedding anniversary. Got a drink at the bar and it was vodka with a splash of cranberry. I ordered the mussels and the flavor was good but they weren't washed well. Main entry Filet Mignon over rosemary potatoes came out and to my surprise the potatoes were cold and the meat was warm. The side head of garlic was raw. I wish I took a picture. Returned the food and came back warm with grill marks on the head of garlic and still raw. I only ate the meat. My husband had to remind them his food came with fries. Asked to speak to the manager and another waiter came over. He apologized and asked if we wanted another drink or dessert. At this point we were done. Very disappointed. Two days later my husband received a call from someone taking a survey from the restaurant on how our dinning experience was. Once my husband gave negative feedback they rushed off the phone. Poor customer service. Needless to say that we would never go back or recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Fantastic place with a cool oak bar. Excellent food with all kinds of meat cuts. Mediterranean forward food. Very good quality service and one of the best bar teams I've ever seen, and I'm a server and bartender. Also used to work here. They also have the coolest owner I've ever worked for. Doug reminded me a lot of Christopher Walken with a take no prisoners mentality. He takes great care of their customers and their staff. Just an instant Westport classic.

Finest dining experience in all my 72 years. The staff, from servers to management, were at the top of their game. If something was wrong, they bent over backwards to correct it. The food was unique and plentiful. I’ve never been completely content with a restaurant, especially during these trying times, but Hudson Malone, in Westport, CT, is at the top of my list for brunch, lunch and dinner. THEY AIM TO PLEASE!

Great atmosphere and bar / pub / burger place. Fun for regulars. The burger was good. Fries were fresh and tasty. The salmon was not good, the entree was undercooked despite asking for the fish to please be cooked well and all the way through. It came out very rare. Tasteless flavor and no lemon served with the salmon was a disappointment. The potato side it came with was very good. The environment is a cool place. Nice burger pub fare overall, but not good for seafood in my opinion. Park across the street! The parking lot only holds about 4 cars so park across the street and walk.Parking: Park across the street, limited parking in actual lot

I went here a few days ago with my family and everyone loved it! From the delicious food to the welcoming waiting service it was excellent. Also I must say something about the atmosphere, it was cozy, welcoming, and delightful. I'm sure the menu offers something for everyone.I will definitely be coming here again.

It pains me to write this review for my birthday dinner on Saturday, 12/23. There were 11 of us, and I must say, it was the polar opposite of our AMAZING experience for my birthday a year prior when we couldn't stop raving about this place, the service, or the food. We made the reservation more than a month prior, and it was pretty annoying that they confirmed it both via text and phone call FOUR times (yes, we did confirm and answer each time). We arrived on time and my heart sank when we were taken to the dark room off of the main dining room that feels like more like eating on a patio in the winter. It was either freezing or we were broiling. The ambiance is super lacking out there I'm sad to say. The service was extremely chaotic all throughout our experience. Sitting by the door to this exterior room, staff would kind burst through all of a sudden, dropping things off and then running away. At one point, the busser had just given us refills on water and turned back around less than 60 seconds later and removed them! We had two servers (a man and a woman) who argued within ear shot of us a few times, and while professional with us, didn't seem very enthusiastic about their roles that evening. A few of us got the much-hyped halibut special that night (with a lemon risotto), & it had absolutely zero flavor unfortunately. I'm really not that picky, but it was so unappetizing. The apps we all shared were great, as were the cocktails. But, yes, entrees this go around were lacking. More than the food, the rushed, chaotic service and the lack of ambiance really made my birthday dinner an unmemorable one. Someone from the restaurant did call my husband the next day to check on our experience (which is great), but he was not honest in his feedback like I would have been.
