I came to don memo after an exceptional team outing with my employees at at different local restaurants. I order a tequila with Tajin rim, I revived it with salt, however that was not the issue. I made a small joke with the bartender (white, skinny gentleman) and he said and I quote “I am not in the mood for jokes, nothing against you but I’m not in the mood” ….. this is not the service especially in Westport that I am looking to receive.

Mediocre food and bad service. Within 10 minutes of receiving our dinner, our table was approached twice asking if we were done with our food. I had a taco in my hand the second time we were asked. A few minutes later, once we were done, the busser comes by and says, “are you finally done?” Appalling! We were at the restaurant for less than an hour, and several other tables were still eating and drinking; why the rush?The waitstaff seemed bored as they all stood in the middle of the restaurant watching everyone at the tables. It was weird and off-putting.The restaurant is cute and the drinks were good, but we will not be back.

I love this restaurant. However, I was there recently, arriving at 6.30pm on a Thursday night and was greeted by a chef with his laptop out right there sitting at the first table when I walk in. This is such a massive pet peeve of mine - seeing managers working on their laptops front of house during service. He sat there for about an hour typing away as if this was a Starbucks. I am trying to enjoy a lovely evening out and chef is on his laptop, TV behind the bar playing commercials. A total ambiance killer. Which is annoying because without those two distractions the ambiance is fantastic. Oh, and the food here is incredible. I will still come back.

I stopped in Friday for takeout but got there early to relax. The Picante Margaritas were great as usual and I decided to order Hamachi Ceviche while I waited...it was insanely good. It's not a traditional ceviche (there are other great options including Yellowfin Ceviche if that's what you're looking for), but more like a Hamachi Crudo - sashimi slices of this young Amberjack marinated with mandarin oranges, radishes, and citrus. I don't see it on the online menu so do yourself a favor and ask for it.
Consistently my favorite dining experience! Best food, best drinks, best service! Gregory- the bartender was excellent at providing both drink and food recommendations. He also made for a really fun experience sitting at the bar - engaging with all customers. Will continue coming back!

Service is not acceptable. We wrote to them on reservation to bring a cake for birthday celebration and we would pay for it. We called to confirm and they are like we see it on the reservation and will be done. They didn't bring out any cake

Incredibly noisy. Service pleasant, efficient. Menu needs to change more frequently. No longer offer beef or lamb tacos. Why? Changed fish tacos from broiled to fried. Why? This has always been a fun place, but may be getting a little complacent.

Excellent varied and unique menu. Duck taquitos, broccoli salad are my favorite apps, but many interesting ones to choose from. Carnitas( crispy outside, moist inside) are a must and the shrimp with soft tortillas are a good pairing. The corn/esquites and potato sides are delicious. Service is quality, but they are understaffed and have many tables to attend to, so if you need something you might have to flag someone down. The only disappointments are the desserts. The two we had were nothing to look at and the tasted equal to how they looked. A restaurant that does such good main meals, should have better executed desserts. Always a nice atmosphere and great location and quality and serving sizes are very good for sharing! One of my favorite places in Westport!

I took my wife here for her birthday. It was a great experience overall. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious. They have an extensive list of Tequilas, so venture out and ask for the tequila flight. We will definitely go back.

Nice atmosphere, but the food was nothing exceptional. And the meals, and drinks for that matter, were way overpriced. And also annoying that the restaurant automatically adds on 20% tip, regardless of whether you want that or not. Needless to say, over $350 for a dinner for 5 with minimal drinks.....for just OK Mexican food. Not going back there again.
