Kawa Ni has a special vibe, amazing food, and fantastic cocktails. The menu is elevated and uses unique and seasonal ingredients that you may not always be familiar with upfront but you are encouraged to ask questions which, in the end, leads to a deeper experience. Highly recommend spending an evening here!
One thing I didn't like was that they sat us very close to a different couple where we could listen to each others conversations. The restaurant was pretty empty at 5:20 pm so I don't see why we had to be seated so close to each other. On a positive note I loved the dumplings, the broccoli salad was just ok.
Our table server was very sweet but forgot us a few times including our entree- by the time we finally got it, it was a at least a half hour after our apps- our daughter had finished her meal a half hour before we received our entree- we wouldn't have been in a rush but was told he stepped out- it was clear we were forgotten- the two drinks I had were very weak considering the price- when I asked for extra alcohol I was told there's an up charge- perhaps the drink price...
