Had a wonderful Saturday brunch here. After we ordered and grabbed a table, I noticed the salads on the table next to ours had wheat croutons. When our food came, my boyfriend's brioche was wheat, as was my sourdough toast. It was unexpected but everything was absolutely delicious. The breads we had did not taste like normal wheat to me - they lacked the heavy, earthy mouthfeel that wheat usually has. The portions were generous and everything tasted super fresh. The house made sausage was perfectly greasy with whole peppercorns embedded in the meat. The hash brown was dense and buttery. The char on the asparagus was beautiful. I read their website after brunch, and saw they only use non-commercially milled wheats and heritage grains. That explains why the baked goods were so good. We took home a chocolate croissant and a strawberry rhubarb pie and they were both divine. I was surprised at how good the wheat tasted, especially the croissant which was light and airy. I didn't know wheat could taste so good! Will definitely return to this cute little spot. Parking is limited which is the only downside.

Got the sausage egg and cheese on the milk bun and it was exactly what I needed; with a runny yolk and a perfect hash brown. Purchased many of the baked goods to taste at home and all have been amazing (coffee cake, mini babka, baguette...) !! The service was stellar and i can't wait to go back and bring friends.

All I ordered was an espresso and now I know not to order an espresso from here ever again. If the espresso is bad, the cappuccino must be

Been coming here for almost three years now and it’s my go to spot! The iced hibiscus tea is my favorite and the almond croissant is incredible. I’ve had a lot of the food and it’s all great. The staff and service is wonderful too!

I'm always pleasantly surprised by my meal at Kneads--it's never quite what I'm expecting, but always interesting and delicious. I love their whole-grains sourdoughs and baked goods. their tea is great, if pricey. Not a budget place, but a great local option for healthy, hand-made food in Saugatuck.

We initially went in unsure about the "whole wheat" aspect to this place but after numerous visits and a wide sampling, there isn't a single thing we didn't enjoy. The menu is excellent and changes a bit with the seasons. Their pies look beautiful (like everything else) and we know the one we have for Thanksgiving will be an awesome addition to the holiday table...because we couldn't resist and got one last week which was of course gone in 2 days! Highly recommend this place and love that they source from great places in the region. Parking is not as daunting as it might seem in the little strip mall there, because there are additional spots a bit further down on the right by the train parking.

We found out new favorite place. Have to come back for lunch and pastries now. Came for breakfast and had the most delicious hash browns, mouthwatering smoked salmon sandwich and amazing coffee. It was busy and a little challenging to find a seat but worth the hassle. Definitely will be back.

Kneads is such a wonderful bakery! I had the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and a lavender coffee, and I'm pretty sure it was the best sandwich I've had this year! I also ordered the almond croissant for dessert, and the manager, David, bought it to me himself so he could thank me for my service on Veterans Day. It's an upscale bakery but I still felt like part of the family with the amount of love they put into their food ❤️
