We’ve been frequent customers at Laylas for both takeout and catering orders. Iv used them several time for larger events at my home and for teacher appreciation dinners. They are a 10/10 across the board, friendly and wonderful service, incredibly fresh and healthy food and always grateful for the business. Look no further than laylas for your catering needs.

Delicious food for affordable prices! Love to buy the Fresh pita bread and hummus!
My company always caters from Layla’s and they are easily our favorite in the rotation! Every plate is delicious and made with so much attention and care. We always add the baklava and fries to our catering order and we have ourselves a FEAST. Also their pita chips are addicting!!

upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted warmly and asked if i needed assistance. I called ahead and the food was waiting for me . I ordered a chicken shwarma and fries and was excellent ! Tasted fresh and was still warm when i got home.
Prices were fair and comparable to other in the area. Even though the restaurant was busy, the staff and front end manager Kiko was efficient and friendly .
overall I'll definitely recommend and return again.

I ordered 2 chicken shawarma wraps with just hummus I literally told them 2 times just hummus
But they made them both with everything and cold. I think someone ordered them for pick up and didn’t come for them so they decided to give it to me.
I have been dining at Layla's Falafel in Fairfield, Westport and Stamford. My favorite is in Westport--Kiku and the staff are fabulous, warm, inviting and we feel like family with them. The food is OUTSTANDING. Made by expert cuisine artists with love and patience. The rice pudding is worth the trip from Hamden alone!! This eating establishment is a treasure and worth supporting. It is always a pleasure to run into Layla, herself, when she's out and about. This is an incredible family effort and, again, one always feels like family while eating there.

**UPDATED POST**
I LOVE LAYLA'S and I’m so thankful there’s one down the road from me in Westport. The food is absolutely delicious (the hummus and tahini are divine!) but what makes this place so special are the people. Moe always takes the best care of me, Fati greeted me with a huge smile the other day, and the entire team is phenomenal. Every visit feels welcoming, the service is consistently thoughtful, and the food is always fresh + flavorful. I leave happier every single time. Layla’s is truly a gem.
**I am also giving a shout-out to Abdul, who is simply wonderful. He is so sweet and is always smiling and happy to see me.
I LOVE LAYLA'S.

I didn’t expect to pay luxury steakhouse prices for a SHAWARMA.
$16 for a single shawarma sandwich? Really? At that point, I started wondering if it was made with golden chicken or imported from a royal palace.
The food might be decent, but let’s be honest — nothing on that menu justifies those prices. This is a casual sandwich, not fine dining wagyu.
I’m all for supporting local restaurants, but charging this much feels more like a joke than hospitality. If you’re going to price like a luxury restaurant, the experience, portion, and quality better match it — and they simply don’t.
Good food doesn’t mean good value. And this was definitely not good value.

Layla’s is a reliable MVP. I’m a creature of habit: chicken shawarma, hummus, and pita—rinse and repeat. The chicken’s always perfect, the hummus is the best I've had, and the pita shows up warm.
Service? Friendly and authentic. Big shout-out to Kiko, who somehow remembers my order and still asks if I want to “try something new”. Appreciate the extra mile, every time!

My husband liked the falafel sandwich, but I thought the falafel had a specific taste because it was fried in oil that wasn't specifically made for frying falafel, which made the sandwich taste weird.
