Walked in near closing time. Waitress was going to seat us, but as we started towards our table a manager walked by and said ABSOLUTELY NOT. We are closing soon. The attitude was real! Never go back

We tried out Mexicue based on a friend's recommendation, and we were beyond SATISFIED. Our group ordered and tried plenty but what stood out was the CHICKEN FAJITAS. It is hard to have a life changing fajita but we definitely did and that alone will be bringing us back in for sure. The wait staff was well trained and answered all of our questions and were able to guide us through our first time in but we're bound to be regulars now!

Made my way back to Mexicue on my visit back home and could not have been more thrilled. The corn dip blew me away, as it always does. It was so fun to see a few new items on the menu and try a few margaritas of course. We had a party of 6 and the staff did a great job accommodating us. The manager, Lynn, went above and beyond to check in multiple times and she was very personable (with the best recommendations!). Looking forward to getting back there and I will be telling anyone who visits the area to stop in for sure.

Went there for happy hour with friends and hands down the food, and drinks are great and not crazy pricey. This location is much better than the Stamford location.

Modern space with a large bar and dining area. Great drinks, food is pretty good too, if overly sauced. Very little meat in the beef taco. Our bartender was friendly but inattentive. He was far more interested in his phone than the patrons. Not cheap but still within reason.

Vacant restaurant placed at table for 2 with all empty tables around for 4 people. Dirty uncleaned tables around. Food WAY over seasoned and salty and dripping in grease and could not taste difference between chicken vs shrimp fajitas. The positive was a friendly waiter and the salsa and vegan queso. Drinks are good.

We love this place! The food is unique Mexican with a healthy and fresh twist. The dishes are as delicious as they are beautiful with color so be ready for it! The Street Corn ? is sweet with some kick. The shrimp fajitas pack heat ?️ and are the best we’ve ever had. I ❤️ the avocado ? salad with romaine, sweet corn and a slightly salty flair. Mexicue is great for a first date and beyond. The service is always pleasant and fun. It’s a great vibe with excellent & somewhat eclectic Mex cuisine. Will check out their weekend brunch ? for sure.Parking: No problemo

Okay..well maybe 3.5 or 4 stars for the food. It was all pretty good..not spectacular but good. All of our tacos, the burrito and the salad we were happy with. The Nachos at happy hour are cheap and huge. Great Happy Hour drink specials, loveliest patio with gorgeous plants, exceptional service-- that's why I'm upping to 5 stars!

I'm a pescatarian and asked for shrimp substitute, they gave me pork. Waiter was inattentive and took forever. Hostess didn't greet us.

Went here dinner during the week and it was really good! Some unique dishes here! I got their passion fruit tequila drink and it was bomb! Our table shared the 4 dips with chips and it was a large enough portion for 4-5 people to split - so its a good deal honestly. We both got their brisket enchilada. This was more like a Mexican pizza as it was crunchy. Meats and flavors tasted all good but it was a little spicy. I would of preferred if it came in a green sauce. The rice and beans it came with were really good! Overall, delicious Mexican food and a nice experience here. Sit upstairs along the window for a nice view too. :)

I first had Mexicue about a decade ago when it was a food truck in NYC. I remember the tacos being killer back then, and I'm happy to say they're still killer so many years later at the Westport restaurant. We stopped by on a rainy afternoon for a quick lunch. We were seated quickly and greeted by a friendly server. We ordered a sampling of tacos -- I had the brisket and pulled pork on the server's recommendation and my wife had a fish taco and a shrimp taco. All of them were delicious, as were the special homemade hot sauces they brought to the table for us to try with them. We loved the BBQ hot sauce so much that we ended up buying a bottle to take home! It's a little pricey at around $8 per taco but that's Westport for ya. Really delicious and worth a try!

Great food, good service, and cool atmosphere. Only exception was the margarita, it tasted like lime juice and water and at $15, it was hard to swallow —they need to work on this. Definitely more expensive overall compared to other restaurants in its class but I am sure the cost to lease their space in downtown Westport is not cheap, so I understand. Despite the negatives of my experience, I would recommend giving it a try as the food was excellent.
