Love this neighborhood takeout counter. Good food at good prices. Staff are friendly and fast. In the summer, they have the Oggi Gelato cart parked to the side.
Westports lil' establishment. Great pizza and salads and much more! Located on the beach! Beautiful
The perfect neighborhood beach spot. Grab a pizza or salad and bring to beach for sunset views
Quaint local store, a gem in Westport.
Great everything but a little slow. Worth the wait though
Was so excited to try this to pick up dinner for the beach but this was such a disappointment. We have always liked the pizza from Romanacci at the train station but between the pizza from the Old Mill being awful and the fact that they also messed up the other dishes we ordered, I will likely never go to Romanacci at the train station again either.
Nice local place by the water. The staff is always incredibly friendly and the food and coffee are good.
A True Local Gem Worth Saving
Old Mill Grocery & Deli is more than just a place to grab a sandwich—it's a landmark, a tradition, and a community treasure. Their sandwiches are top-tier, and the cookies? Absolutely unforgettable. It has the warm, welcoming feel of a traditional Italian deli, and it's been part of our lives for years.
They need our support now more than ever. Let’s help preserve this local legacy—please check out this petition and help save a piece of history. Save the Old Mill!
Great pizza. I recommend the mushroom onion style with truffle oil

If you're in Westport, you have to stop by Old Mill Grocery and Deli on Fields Point Road. The location is unbeatable—right across from the water, which gives the place a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a meal while soaking in the views.
We ordered sandwiches, and they were absolutely amazing! Fresh ingredients, perfectly balanced flavors, and generous portions—everything you could ask for. The staff was friendly, and the overall vibe of the place made it feel cozy and welcoming.
Whether you're a local or just passing through, Old Mill Grocery and Deli is definitely worth a visit!

Great lunch and snack place that now has good wine and beer. Romanacci is now a partner so it has the benefit of having the food and management of a well oiled multi restaurant concern. Enjoy the amazing fresh small and large cannolis that are filled before your eyes.

I don't think I would call them a grocery. It's more of a please to grab a sandwich and or a coffee and pastry. I got an ice coffee and a Cornette and sat in their outdoor area. I enjoyed myself people watching in the beautiful neighborhood, will be coming back.?☕
Parking: Small parking, 15 min limits.

Old Mill Deli & Grocery was established in 1919 and the number one grocery and deli in Westport; it is the oldest in town too. New operators took over and they're called Romanacci. They have a wide array of food; from breakfast, coffee, sandwiches, and pizza.
We ordered a large pizza takeout for lunch from there and it was good! They had a few picnic tables on their side patio. There were umbrellas so it was shady on a hot summer day to dine outside. The service was great and the pizza was huge. It came out fast, hot, and delicious; we ordered a large pizza with half pepperoni and half mushroom and caramelized onions. I loved the mushroom and caramelized onions portion; it was sweet and savory from the onions and cheese. There was a small parking lot and the place was popping. It's a great location because it's across the street from Compo Beach and surrounded by a neighborhood. It appears to be the neighborhood go to grocery, deli, and pizza restaurant. Overall, I recommend it and a wonderful asset to the town.
