The Boathouse Restaurant along the lovely Saugatauk River is a very special, tucked away spot. I am happy to say that I feel blessed to have moved into the vicinity of the talented Chef Paul and his counterparts in the kitchen and dining room. Everyone is warm and welcoming ...the views are not bad either! 🙌☺️
We had a great dinner at the Boathouse last night. The food was excellent. The cauliflower appetizer was surprisingly delicious. The mussels, salmon, the pasta with clams and finally the clam chowder was all eaten and enjoyed at our table. The service was efficient and friendly and the sound level was low allowing four friends to catch up without screaming at each other.
We had a wonderful experience. In addition to the excellent food and decor the service provided by our waiter Frank , and his colleagues , was superb. And their singing of “Happy Birthday “ was right on key ! Made my birthday special. Thank you to The Boathouse 👏👏
