Awful, long wait, terribly disorganized, not close to old deli service and quality….

I recently had the chance to visit @159 that boasted a charming atmosphere, but sadly, the service and food quality didn’t live up to the vibe. With only two tables occupied, we found ourselves waiting over 40 minutes for our food—a rather surprising delay.
To add to the disappointment, our order arrived with several mistakes: the bacon was missing, we received tater tots instead of home fries (and were charged extra for them!), and when I requested a hard roll in place of the unavailable white bread, it never came. When the bacon finally arrived, it was unappetizing—likely microwaved and cold.
Given the prices, I had hoped for a much better experience. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this place based on my visit.

Rude staff, disinterested and average food. It wasn’t busy yet people were ignored. One group decided to leave rather than continue to be ignored. High priced in my opinion. Not sure why they are in the hospitality business. Go to Gold’s up the road.

Food took forever and it was terrible. Egg sandwich maybe had one egg. Tenders were brick hard. Just bad and overpriced.
We work on Main Street and went to try it now that it is no longer Rye Ridge deli. The service was fine. The food is not an improvement. the chicken avocado club is definitely not club sandwich and not good. It comes on a regular hard roll.. The roll is not toasted and may have been a day old. The moisture from the shredded lettuce and mayo, quickly soaked through the bottom of the hard roll, making it impossible to eat as a sandwich. And there was no bacon, which was listed as an ingredient. The Chicken is tasteless. The avocado is fresh. French fries are not crispy or seasoned. unfortunately still no good deli right in the center of Westport. Wont come back.

We’ve eaten here several times over the past 3 years and it’s always been overpriced, but the food has tasted fine and the restaurant is in a convenient location if you’re downtown. This most recent visit, my husband and I both experienced terrible stomach cramps, shivering, etc. within 30 mins of finishing our overpriced meals for which we waited 40 mins (two basic sandwiches and wasn’t particularly busy). It was pretty clear the symptoms were caused by our meal as we were 100% fine immediately before eating. So, never again. No great loss.

I used to come here with my family and we stopped because we couldn’t stand the service. I returned for the first time in a year to find a new name over the front door and the same old, horrible service.

$32 for a chicken salad sandwich and an utterly tasteless turkey swiss avocado wrap, TO GO! Never again!

It would have been nice if they just changed the name when they took over from Rye Ridge. The staff is still friendly but overworked. They could use two more wait staff. I tried four items that in the past had been really good. First was a turkey burger that was more filler than turkey, then the replacement burger was just a greasy patty. On another occasion I tried the chopped liver. Again, what a disappointment. It seemed to have potato as a filler and was tasteless. As a platter, it came with potato salad, cole slaw and two tiny scoops of chopped liver. period. no garnish, no tomato, no nothing. Then came the hot corned beef. again as a platter, served over a pile of cole slaw. It was fatty and tasteless. By this time we were there for over an hour and the restaurant was not half full on Labor Day. They will not last long.

I was visiting family in Westport and decided to grab a quick bite from 159 Main, which looked cute from the outside. The customer service overall was horrendous and I will not return to this establishment. I wish I could leave zero stars. I was not greeted by the front counter staff when attempting to place an order, although the person next to me (who was not the same gender, nor the same color), was greeted warmly. The person behind the counter curtly replied to me, "I'll be with you in a minute." He proceeded to make the other person's entire order without even putting my order in. After that, he went to the back of food area and did not return to the counter. I went to the other side of the counter to the pick-up line and asked if I could place my order there. The person there was much more accommodating. It took forever to receive my single order of avocado toast, although there were about 5 people behind the counter, laughing and joking. One woman behind the counter finally asked if I'd been helped after about 10 minutes, and she ensured my order was being made. She did tell me to "have a good day."

Nice dine in deli. Sandwiches are made fresh and tasty.
Parking: Parking is available in the back of the restaurant. This is free street parking but with a time limit.

Overpriced. My Philly cheesesteak didn't have any peppers and had american cheese. For 20$ I'm sure you can throw some peppers on there, and use a better cheese.
