I’ve been coming here for over 20 years, celebrated most of my 13 year old’s birthdays and my birthdays here for hibachi. And this time he chose Sakura again and wanted to invite 7 of his school friends, it was 10 of us in total last night. I told the hostess that l wanted kids meals for the kids since l know how much food is served and 12 and 13 year olds wont eat it all and wont want to take it home, they are there for the experience. The hostess said: no, they are over 12 years, they have to get adult size hibachi.
A 13 year old, or an adult should be allowed to order a kids size hibachi simply because it’s a smaller portion. Sad that this lady only cared about making more money and not about the pounds of food that was going to be thrown in the garbage. I left very disappointed last night for the first time in over 20 years, payed over $500 and all the food was wasted, l hate to waste food and this could have been avoided. Sadly, I dont think my family and l will come back here again, this place has lost its magic. On the good side, our waiter Steven was kind and friendly.

Place is very busy so we had hibachi one night with the kids and grabbed takeout another time. Everything was great. Food was perfect. Only thing I'd say is hibachi seemed rushed, but they're very busy lol. Other than that, great.

I had my daughter’s birthday today and we set up a reservation for 7 people. 6 of us showed up. After waiting for a while, Will started questioning us about the person that we were expecting and wanting to know exactly what time they would get there. After explaining to him that the person was running late, he wouldn’t give us a seat and kept saying we need to sit with other people. He kept saying “this restaurant doesn’t work like that”, “you have to sit with other people” as if we can’t have a table. They treated us very disrespectfully, we were sorry we made a reservation with them.

I’ve been eating here since they originally opened. Ever since they got taken over - Things have gone downhill. I just got takeout and will never order from them again. It’s too bad. It was excellent for decades.

My family has been coming here since the 80s and I try to take anyone I can here to experience the hibachi. The food is always such great quality and the portions are such a good deal for the cost. Drinks are great, sushi is wonderful and fresh, and I always recommend the scallops. I’ll continue to come here until I can no longer!
Veryvery good food and n my opinion they give wayyyyy to much food! But awesome time for a date night especially.

Wonderful experience!! Celebrating my birthday I choose Sakura for my dinner. Have not done hibachi style eating in a long time.
What a treat!!! Chose the steak and chicken combo. They first serve you soup 🍜 and salad. 🥗 soup was a hit bland but good. Salad a dressing were delicious.
They then serve you fried rice and noodles 🍜. Plus stir fried veggies. A few shrimps 🦐 were also included. Next is the meat. All were delicious and if course entertaining to watch it being prepared. Had a Japanese beer 🍺. Very good as well.
Also tried the fried ice cream 🍨. Very good too.

Sugam is AMAZING! He really made sure we had a great experience. It was our first time here. He made our drinks to perfection and waited on us like we were the only ones at the bar. That's skilz my friends 😆 We will definitely be back again. Wonderful dinner experience here.
We had a great experience at this restaurant. Remarkable cooking techniques and precise doneness with vegetables and seafood; Now, the "show" itself, was very well executed by the Chef/ cook and very much interactive with the group of 10 ppl that we were. I will definitely come back !

Overall, it was a great experience. Got a little confused with the entrance as we came from a different direction and wound up on the backend of the restaurant, but parking was fine. The place was very busy as it was Father's day. We made a reservation in advance for hibachi. It was myself, my husband, and two boys ages 7 and 9. The kids loved watching the cooks do tricks. The staff was friendly and attentive. We only had a soft drink, but the drinks we saw looked good. The food was yummy and everyone left satisfied. I was surprised they gave rice and noodles. The only thing I was a little annoyed with was that it came with only white rice and you had to pay $5 more for fried rice. I thought that should have been included, but it didn't bother me that much. Definitely recommend and would go back again!!??
