As always, excellent food/service at a fair price. Extra bonus: 20% off one item for eating at Cafe. Nice enticement.

First we seated incorrectly (at the table a pitcher of almost water was on the table, someone came to remove after a bit of waiting. Then the hostess mentioned that she had to move us because the seats were promised for someone else. When we were seated in our new section, it took the waiter/waitress a huge amount of time to come bring us water. We had to ask for bread various times and then the waitress took forever and a day to come for order. I wanted to sub something but was given a hard time about it. Food was that good, dry and overdone not impressed

Review for Terrain - Westport, CT ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My dining experience at Terrain in Westport was nothing short of magical, as always. The ambiance is enchanting, with beautiful greenery that creates a serene atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, making me feel truly valued. The food was outstanding, flavorful and beautifully presented. Overall, Terrain continues to impress and I can't wait to return for another enchanting experience! Highly recommended!

Great ambience with the plants and lighting. Good value on the food prices. Staff was very friendly.

While the food tasted good, there was parchment paper found under my food I assume from the portions size and the manager was kind enough to fire a new item and offer me a free drink. Then my waiter had to be called every time I needed something and did not do any regular checks. When it was time for dessert, my waiter did not inform us of any items that were out so when My Wife picked option after option that we're no longer available it was getting to be a bit frustrating. Then my dessert wasn't even rung in, so My Wife waited around slightly picking at the food so we could eat together. I was not pleased with Alex's service and definitely would ask for a different waiter when I return. Then when I wanted to pay, I had tried to use a gift card however they said they will not accept the gift card due to the fact that it is for the retail side and is currently closed which in the past, they have been able to do this in past with no problems.

Loved everything about Terrain Cafe. The food was amazing, the service was impeccable and the restaurant itself is just so beautiful. Can't wait to go back.

Very good food, but the ambience is unbeatable. It's a must eat place in Fairfield county.

The worst place in terms of service I have ever been to, the service is terrible, the staff are disorganized, at the entrance you give your name and in an average of 20/25 minutes you will have a table, but I waited for 50 minutes when I asked a waiter, then she directed me to a table and I waited another 15 minutes to be served and another 10 minutes for the bread to arrive, I am still waiting for the order. If you do not question the waiting time they pass like people in front of you, literally in front of you. As for the food, I have no opinion. But if you do not have patience, do not come.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch on the patio. Food was a bit slow to come out, but was worth the wait. Patio is definitely noisier than inside, but the setting was too beautiful to pass up!

Terrain Cafe - Westport was such an incredible experience! From the very beginning the staff were so kind and welcoming. The decor is extraordinary and the food is out of this world. It was such a beautiful, casual and fulfilling dining experience. If I lived closer I would go there every week. Run don't walk to Terrain Cafe - Westport!!

While a lovely cafe with a delicious menu and food, it took nearly an hour for our brunch to be served. Too long to wait. Noise volume too high. Difficulty carrying on a conversation with person across the table.

I couldn't leave town without trying the Short Rib & Eggs at Terrain, so I came back for breakfast, and I'm so glad I did! Arriving at 10 AM, I was thrilled to find the short rib in stock, and it was absolutely incredible. The meat was so tender it practically fell apart with a fork. The flavors were warm and rich—an absolutely perfect way to start the day. If I lived in the area, this would be my go-to breakfast every week! We also ordered the Terrain Breakfast (free-range eggs, bacon, sausage, potato hash, sourdough toast, and greens), which was delicious but honestly didn't stand a chance against the short rib. Along with the complimentary milk bread and a chai latte, this was plenty of food for the two of us, and we left pleasantly full. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a hearty, meat-forward breakfast!

We had such a delightful lunch at Terrain Café! The outdoor seating was lovely, and I especially appreciated the little detail of incense burning in the plants, which really added to the atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was quite busy, the service was impeccable—our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and handled the rush like a pro. We started with complimentary milk bread and seasonal butter (served in the cutest terra cotta pot!). For our meal, we enjoyed the Beet & Burrata Salad, which had some great touches like puffed amaranth and pickled shallot, as well as the Shakshuka, which was packed with flavor. We originally wanted to try the Short Rib & Egg, but it was sold out by the time we arrived—so be sure to get there early for that one! Instead, we had the Terrain Burger. The burger was delicious, though I would have loved a little aioli. I ended up dipping it into the Shakshuka, which was a great fix! For drinks, I had the Masala Spiced Chai Latte, which was on the sweeter side, and a London Fog, which was perfectly balanced. The ambiance was beautiful, and after lunch, we had fun exploring the shop, trying not to spend too much on all the lovely skincare products and plants. As Atlanta locals, we're so glad we found this spot and will definitely be back on future visits!

Terrain is an exceptional garden and gift shop with this lovely cafe tucked in a sunny section of the store. We like it mostly for the ambience and the combined shopping experience. The food is a bit pricey for what is served. The food quality is fine . . . . The hostesses seem a bit inexperienced in managing reservations and seating customers at the requested table.
