This restaurant is truly special. During a recent trip to CT I went out of my way twice to Westport for the deliciousness of The Blondinit. The food, atmosphere, and people of this special place blew me away. We were treated like family and served food that was so incredibly fresh, unique, and delicious. We went family style which allowed us to sample the menu. We shared the whipped feta, hummus, eggplant chips, fried pickles, latkes, skewers, and the spicy schnitzel sandwich.. I will go to The Blondinit every time I go to CT for the rest of my life. I’m in love with this restaurant. Do yourself a favor and get in there immediately. You will not be disappointed.

To say that this is an unbelievable restaurant will be an understatement. From the minute you enter you feel at home. The friendly service is accompanied by the most authentic and tasty food no matter which dish you choose. Even the cocktails, which in many places are “an issue”, are excellent! In brief- do not skip coming here even if you have to drive! 4/8/25: another visit- another great meal and friendly service! Everything I said previously still applies. Moroccan cigars are great, falafel balls are perfect, meat is done the way it should be done. So- what are you waiting for? Go there!!! May 29, 2025: went for dinner again- same report: atmosphere, food, cocktails- top of the game. Service extremely friendly with Christian making one feel among friend! GO THERE!!! October ‘25: another visit another great meal in a home-like atmosphere and the friendliest service (Alyssa). If you have not been there yet- drop everything and go!!!

I had a most delicious lunch. Everything was fresh. Staff was great. Also had take out for Rosh Ha Shana Tremendous portions and the schnitzel was delish. The Israeli salad and condiments were generous and fresh. What a treat!

A fun place to hang out on a warm weekend outside with lots of outdoor seating in downtown Westport in a big closed off alley.
3 stars because I would say the food and cocktails were “fine”. It’s a small kitchen and a large menu but everything we had felt really basic, the plating was pretty sad and the two cocktails I tried were quite off balanced. Not a bad time, but enough to bring me back.

Spent the afternoon in Westport driving up from Scarsdale and we were fortunate to get a reservation at Blondinit. We sat outside in their covered patio with amazing vibes Israeli music, pretty decor and a menu with a variety of options! We had a couple of Haifa Spritz’s which paired well with the hummus and falafel and Israeli chopped salad. We also tried the bamba cauliflower which was excellent! Cannot wait to return to this restaurant!!! Worth the drive!!

We had such a fantastic meal! Every dish our group of four ordered was fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor. The babaganoush was especially memorable—smoky, creamy, and absolutely delicious. Both the chicken and salmon skewers were grilled to perfection—juicy, tender, and beautifully seasoned.
The service was just as impressive: the staff was warm, attentive, and fast without ever feeling rushed. The whole place has a fun, welcoming vibe that made the night even more enjoyable.
Make a reservation like we did: The place was buzzing and nearly full when we arrived. Totally worth it!
