We had a great dinner at the Boathouse last night. The food was excellent. The cauliflower appetizer was surprisingly delicious. The mussels, salmon, the pasta with clams and finally the clam chowder was all eaten and enjoyed at our table. The service was efficient and friendly and the sound level was low allowing four friends to catch up without screaming at each other.
We had a wonderful experience. In addition to the excellent food and decor the service provided by our waiter Frank , and his colleagues , was superb. And their singing of “Happy Birthday “ was right on key ! Made my birthday special. Thank you to The Boathouse 👏👏
I went for lunch today and ordered the hamburger sandwich. The food was good, and the view was wonderful. However, while I was having a serious conversation with my companion, the waiter came over and asked if I was finished. I told him I was not done yet.😟
A little later, he came back again with a to-go box and tried to pack up my food — while I was still eating. I found this extremely rude and inappropriate, especially for a restaurant that presents itself...
