I’ve been trying to find an allergy friendly bakery that actually takes cross contamination precautions seriously and the cake box exceeded my expectations. I have a family member that has a wheat egg and peanut allergy. He can eat the vegan cake here no problem. And the cake is delicious!! Thank you so much for being awesome!

Cupcakes perfected! The icing-to-cake ratio is just right. The salted caramel and red velvet cupcakes are crave-worthy, as are the oatmeal raisin cookies. The mini vegan Bundt cakes are perfection. I've done custom orders and been thrilled. Top it all off with fancy boxes and great service, I look forward to every visit.

I think most of the reviews here forgot how a cake should be. Their products are so dense you can throw it at someone's head and knock them out. Don't let their fancy boxes fool you. Some of them are too sweet with no balance. Maybe it's the only best choice locally? Or the reviews are from family and friends? All these 5 star reviews are delusional. The reason why this shop is still open is because it has a monopoly on the area. There are no other good options within a 5 mile radius. I bet the cupcakes at Stew Leonard's are lighter and fluffier and not a sugar bomb.

I really was excited for the cake and I really wanted to love it. The icing was great and not so sweet. The cake, though, was overcooked and dry. The cake was difficult to cut. My daughter couldn't cut into her own cake. I needed to get a bigger and sharper knife. When I cut into it, the slices wouldn't hold together. You could see the dryness of the cake and a tough, burnt crust. The cake was so tough, my mom wiped the icing off and dunked it into her coffee.I was so heartbroken when I saw that nobody was eating the cake. It look the magic out of the very thing people look toward to in a celebration. Serving the cake was truly an embarrassment. Thanks for ruining a birthday ✌?

After all the hype I had to stop by and try. Had the carrot cake which was not bad just not survival. Red velvet was not bad, the mochachino was different but most of what they do here is buttercream which is WAAY too sweet. For me not that impressed Patty's in Fullerton kills this place haha down unfortunately.

Delicious freshly baked cakes. We tried the yellow cake with chocolate fudge icing and it was sublime. Would definitely try again next time in the CT area.

I ordered a strawberry cream cake for the first time and It was the worst cake I ever had. It's too buttery,greasy,super sweet, hard to eat and very pricey.I will never use the cake box bakery again, waist of money.

Pre-ordered a dozen cupcakes, when I arrived at the time specified during the order process, my order was not there. The woman working there looked into the system and said the other location never sent the order to Westport. So I couldn't get exactly what I ordered but they were able to give me a dozen. They were good quality cupcakes.

I would not recommend the cake box for special occasions. While the cupcakes are yummy, their reliability and customer service is horrendous. I ordered mini cupcakes for my daughter's 1st birthday which were great. For a separate party I ordered a large and expensive cake and cupcake. The cake was the WRONG color. I was initially given excuses, but then even the staff on site acknowledged that the color was wrong. No one seemed apologetic. I had matched all my decor (cake topper, high chair decor etc.) to the correct color. They weren't able to provide a replacement cake that day. Initially they offered to give me a gift card which I declined. Why should I pay for a cake that is the WRONG color! Then, in speaking with the manager he said 'so you want to keep the cake, and get a full refund. You need to pick one or the other.' I lost it! My daughter's 1st birthday party was in 1.5 hours. This was their mistake and the cake I was relying on. Where was I supposed to get a cake to feed 15+ people in an hours time. Eventually I got them to refund me, however, the owner hung up on me! This is not how you treat customers especially when it was YOUR TEAM who made the mistake! DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Wow! I highly recommend this place! They have really good cupcakes. The Cake Box is located in the downtown area. They have their parking lot for the building. The shop is really relaxing and pretty. The service is great. You'll find this huge lamp filled with sprinkles. They have seating inside and outside. I had the cookies an d cream and the caramel. Both were really good. The cupcakes are baked at their Ridgefield store and they're brought in. They had sone good fall flavors, like pumpkin and apple. Highly recommend!
