Awesome food. Great service! The only reason I’m giving four stars, is the parking was really small and kind of makes you back up into the main road.

We dine here at least once a week. it’s my 10 year old daughter’s favorite restaurant. She loves the classic chicken tikka masala but also lasuni gobi.the manager and wait staff are so personable and helpful. They always make great recommendations and the food is honestly the best Ive had in Fairfield county!! Keep it up!!

I had dinner here on a weeknight. There are several booths that seat four comfortably and tables can be moved to increase to 7, possibly 8. We were the only folks there between 5:30 and 7:00 pm but there was a steady stream of takeout business. The food was excellent, particularly the Butter Chicken. Vegetarian options as well. Service was prompt, professional and friendly. There is a single unisex bathroom that was clean and tidy. Wheelchair accessible. Parking available within a few feet of the entrance.Parking: Parking available in front. Be careful backing out as you could end up backing into incoming traffic on Route 1.Wheelchair accessibility: Yes. Entrance on street level.

Good not great. Tried this place bc it sounded like it would be flavorful and authentic. It gave me the option to make my chicken tikka masala spicy and I chose spicy but it wasn't really very spicy. I know the dish isn't traditionally spicy but I've ordered from a small hole in the wall place on the post road in orange and they know how to do spicy right. The samosas were fine but nothing special and the dough around them was different than I've had in the past. Not as crispy. The food wasn't bad and they gave good portions, I just don't think I'd come back since the place I've found in orange is better.

First of all, the restaurant is now called Taj. The food was not very good. The lamb saag was tasteless, the samosa chaat was starchy snd tasteless; the chicken tikka masala had large chunks of chicken that had no taste snd it seemed that they just put the chicken in at the last minute without giving the chicken time to take up the spices of the sauce The restaurant was probably bought over by Taj in Fairfield as the menu had Taj Fairfield on its logo.

What on earth happened to Vedas??? I went to put in an order today, and there is now a delivery fee in addition to what I pay monthly for Uber One, and there was a surcharge for taxes and "other fees" that amounted to almost a third of my total order? This has been my favorite Indian food in the area for years, but I simply can't afford this!

Horrible. The biryani had whole spices still in it - not just a little, they were everywhere. We order from Norwalk location all the time and I ordered from Westport by mistake on food delivery app. Literally last night we ordered the butter lamb and it was so good we wanted it again. It couldn't have been more different and not a traditional butter sauce. It had caramelized onions swimming in it. The sauce was red when this sauce I'd supposed to be yellow. The pieces of lamb were fatty and not fork tender like Norwalk makes it. I will never make this mistake again. What a waste of $50. All the food went out to the bin. I joked with my husband that I don't think even the raccoons will want it! I had to brush my teeth and can still taste it! If you like traditional Indian food, and home cooked Indian food, STAY AWAY!!!

First thing : Horrible service.I ordered two food items from uber. I went there after 40 minutes, they didn't even check the order, and the receptionist instead of saying sorry, said ohhh it will be going to take time. If you don't check your uber why do you even have that. Why at every Indian restaurant the quality of the service is always poor and this was no different.
