We were looking forward to this dinner but the food was surprisingly bland. The waiter forgot our wine and we had to ask for Parmesan and pepper for the pasta. (Which we gave to the adjacent table as they were not provided it either). All in all, underwhelming.

Kirsten Comfort's name is destiny as she made the guests, me and the momma-to-be-of-honor all comfortable at my daughter's baby shower. It was literally the coldest day of the winter of 2026, and my thirty ladies came in by train, plane and car to a cozy Prosecco & Pizza warmup served with smiles and style by Alex and Nick. Kirsten had the room set up beautifully in shades of sage that complemented our teddy bear boho chic theme. Dinner was scrumptious - especially the pasta primavera (al dente) first course and salmon main - and the portions were large. The kitchen was sensitive to dietary concerns from vegan preferences to dairy-free requests to severe nut and berry allergies requiring separate prep and plating. Our event went off without a worry and with lots of merriment! Zucca is home to an ace team that welcomes special event groups!

Its been a long time since I have had to wait for 30 minutes for my reserved table. The young hostess was very apologetic yet the manager ignored us the entire time. When you have to wait 30 minutes for a reservation in a mediocre restaurant then it is the manager's fault. Understanding that it was the night before Valentine's day and a friday I know that there can be some kitchen issues or customers hanging out at the table longer than expected. However, when that happens a good manager takes control of the situation and does what is needed to make patrons happy. Acknowledgement of the wait, offer complimentary drinks, a desert, an explanation. NOTHING. HE DID NOTHING and made the young girl take the heat. Too many great restaurants in Westport and Fairfield to return to this restaurant with bad management. The food was good, wait staff was good. Drinks were good. Manager Bad.

Food was ok. Nothing special. Decor is depressing. They try to pack as many people as they can in a small space. Waiters constantly bumping into tables. Almost seems like fast food - how quickly they can turn tables. Not a relaxing dinner. Over priced.

Good not great. Waited 20 minutes to be seated past our reservation time. Seated at a high top near the bar (which was actually ok). Waitress was the bar tender and as such she couldn't always get to us. I had to go to the bar several times to get something. They ran out of the special but didn't tell us until well after our order was placed. Steak was disappointing, especially at the price point. Fried calamari was great and so was the pasta dish. Noise level was good at the bar- background music was fine and tv was ok. Not sure what it was like in the main part of the restaurant but it was crowded on a Saturday night.

I went to dinner with my husband on a Friday night. The only reason the ambiance received less than 5 stars was because how close we were seated to the table next to us. They really pack you in there! It was just a bit too close for our liking. We could hear everything they were saying, and vice-versa. Also, the window I sat next to was VERY drafty, so I was cold the whole night. But the food & service were great. We had a lovely server, who did a great job. Our cocktails were both presented with smoke-filled glasses and it was very cool AND they were very tasty! I started out with a salad that had fried goat cheese on top. Not only was it delicious, it was huge! I had to force myself to stop eating it so I could save room for dinner, which was a special entree - the striped bass. Perfectly cooked with crispy skin and it was served with velvety cauliflower puree, mushrooms and Brussels sprouts. The sauce that came with it was excellent too. My husband had octopus to start, which he loved. The potatoes that came with it were especially amazing. His entree was ravioli, which he enjoyed. For dessert we had an apple tart, which was good, although the crust wasn't our favorite. We will definitely be back another time.

We loved every dish we tried from the stuffed hot Italian peppers to the seafood risotto. The service was on point all night. The menu is so varied we will be back to try different dishes.
Dining at Zucca was an excellent experience; from the interesting and highly varied and expansive menu, to the presentation and outstanding preparation, I was very happy with my decision to try dining at Zucca with a friend for lunch. I will be back, for sure!

The service, food, drinks and ambience at Zucca were outstanding. Our server was prompt and offered great recommendations. Drinks were unique and delicious. The menu is very extensive and it was hard to decide what to choose. Food was presented beautifully and everything tasted delicious. Three diners shared three appetizers and then we each had a different entree. Everything was perfect. We will be back and will recommend highly.

Fun place, very lively, excellent food, good vibe. Service was indifferent. Loud. We were two older couples, and despite the effort in hearing one another, we enjoyed it. I'd say great for young and midlife couples/groups.
