Village Pizza Restaurant is a nice little restaurant in beautiful Old Wethersfield. The food is terrific, with great pizza. The best pizza in CT, hands down, with soft, fresh dough and toppings that have original Italian flavor. A delicious pepper and onion pizza and Greek salad are recommended, as is the lasagna, which is way more than one person can eat in one sitting. The buffalo wings are really nice and juicy, and the thick crust pizza is thick, chewy, and deliciously filling. The atmosphere is very familiar orientated, with beautiful rustic architecture and old architecture inside that gives a warm feeling. The staff are courteous, professional, welcoming, and attentive, providing amazing service. Complimentary, custard filled Greek dessert called galaktoubouriko was offered. Prices are very reasonable. Absolutely fantastic, everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend.
