The bf and i were in the area and saw this place and decided on a whim to go in. The interior is stylish and clean; i like the design of the menu ("anti-tacos" for the non-taco foods made me chuckle) and the homey feel. Good vibes! It took a while to figure out what to order, but i ended up getting the queso birria specialty tacos and my bf got the small order of cali fries and the oaxaca quesadilla. Pricey but the food was really good, the tortillas are handmade, and they had options for vegan and meat lovers. My son said the California fries are to die for. I was bummed that they were out of guacamole.
Great little spot. The normal tacos are 3.50, they're not huge but worth that price and tasted great. The fried chicken taco is 5.50 but HUGE and delicious. The real star of the show was the Cali fries. Absolutely loaded with sauces, quest fresco and I went with steak. I live 45 minutes but would drive back just to eat there for sure. The guy at the counter was friendly and brought my food out to me on the patio. Highly recommended.
