We have been eating at McGrane's regularly for years. The quality of everything has been steadily declining. Neither of the highchairs they have out are in working condition. The boosters don't strap to the chairs, or strap in a child. Everything is sticky. The last time we were there, my husband's sandwich was made wrong (turkey instead of roast beef on a roast beef club). The sandwich was sent back and when it returned 8 minutes later, it was clear that the turkey was taken off and replaced with roast beef (there were still little pieces of turkey there). Waters that were ordered without lemon were brought to the table with lemon. The waitress reached in, pulled the lemon out with her nasty fingers, and handed us the water stating, "here. now it doesn't have lemon." We were appalled. Toward the end of our dinner, the waitress asked if I wanted to box up my food as they were getting ready to close. This occurred approximately 15 minutes before closing time. Go literally anywhere else in town.

Great family dinner.

We parked on the street right next to the restaurant. Self seating but we're greeted right away. The coffee and juice came out fast. The breakfast portions are big and tasty. We toast had just the right amount of butter.

Classic diner atmosphere with soft Irish touches. A local favorite hotspot but anyone with taste buds outside of this area would tell you that the food is not good. The service is lazy and lackluster, and the cook has no sense of urgency. Also who makes a Ruben like this Must’ve been the toughest pieces of corn beef I’ve ever ever had in my life. This was my second time and last time here. First time was just as dull. This is probably one of those places that if you didn’t grow up Here you would probably just pass

Rude staff and bland food. Got my order wrong and forgot to give me half my order. Very unapologetic and rude. After all the frustration the food was not good at all. Don’t waste your time with this dump!!!!

Staff is extremely rude and incompetent. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and Texas toast. My order took over 30 minutes to make and I didn't even receive all of my food. Had to drive all the way back (15 minutes) to get the rest of my order and the woman employee lied and said that my food was left behind. She lied!! I believe they tried to scam me out of food. The sandwich looked like someone grabbed it from a blender and the food had absolutely no flavor. Also very very dry. When we explained that we had to drive far to come back for our food the woman employee was extremely rude and told my wife "that's not her problem". I will NEVER waste another dime in this place and the owners should be ashamed to have employees representing their business with such unprofessionalism. Horrible food, horrible atmosphere and horrible workers. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. SAVE YOUR MONEY.

Overpriced and they dont accept credit cards? The ATM on site does though but charges a high price.

Order a chicken cutlet sandwich and fries with thousands island, swiss cheese, bacon and lettus. The roll was stale or poor quality. I ordered to-go and when I got home, the bun was hard and dryed out. Also the cutlet was small compared to the bun so when it was cut in half, 80% of chicken was on one side and I kinda just ate a sad half of sandwich with no cutlet. Fries were pretty good though.

Also, it's not a big deal but they don't do credit/debit cards and with no sign inside, I found out after my order was placed and I'd hate if they made something I can't pay for. They know what they are doing since they have an atm right next to register with a $3 charge. As well as my meal came out to $20.24 and thankfully had a quarter out in my car. I asked if they had a sign saying they only accept cash or check and after a few mins of checking the counter, they found it on the door. Fair enough but it's worth sharing a photo of the sign.

It wasn't a terrible experience but there are plenty of delis and pizza joints within walking distance. I simply won't return due to the many other options.
