This is my favorite CT restaurant for casual dining: Excellent homemade food, friendly informal service, hometown feel!! Today I had the "Beef with vegetable" soup and a Reuben. Both weee excellent!!

Ordered breakfast sandwiches and home fries. The home fries had absolutely no seasoning and the bacon was overcooked. Was really disappointed being several people recommended this place for breakfast sandwiches.

I really liked coming here untill this morning I got ripped off my change while getting my takeout food. I called back and the girl on the front said come back soni went back in and she said “ I just rounded differently “ so technically she just gave men coins instead of a 2 dollars I had left a 1 dollar bill for a gratuity which I choose had taken back. So unfortunately I really liked this place. What a shame.

Food Poisoning central!!! We ate chicken wings yesterday and before I could leave 30 minutes later the projectile vomiting started!! Then the toilet in the womens room would not flush! As I exited the womens room, the cook came out of the men's room quickly after flushing.... no way he washed his hands! No wonder i had vomiting 30 minutes after eating there!! Still today my digestive tract is in pain and out of wack. After Christmas I will be calling the health dept on this place!

Small dirty greasy place. Chicken wings made multiple people at my table sick. Saw one of the chefs walk out of the bathroom without washing his hands…hmmm… makes you think. We won’t be coming back.

The shrimp is great with the sweet potato fries and served nice and hot . With my Sprite soda. But sometimes with a chocolate milkshake!!! Been going for several years now. staff is friendly!

From the jump, had a good feeling. The waitress wasted no time, we were served coffee and water fast. I got my usual, biscuit, sausage gravy, lightly scrambled eggs, corned beef hash, and wheat toast. Everything was cooked perfectly and high quality and perfect quantity - i was hungry. Deb got a bacon, fried egg, cheese, on hard roll, corn muffin grilled and buttered perfectly. She raved, very pleased. The owner spoke with us about his Yankees/ red Sox display, there's a story. I have been coming to McGranes for many years, since they were over on Rowley St., where the Rowley Grill is now situated. Obviously, I like the place. BUT as I am now in need of an ADA compliant restroom, I can’t go here. You have updated the outside of the restaurant, but have you brought the ONE restroom into compliance???
